i rly think mending clothes is a really important skillset everyone should learn, it's just all around useful, ethical consumption aside... like sometimes u just dont wanna throw out ur fave socks because theres a hole in them
i could probably make a thread about stuff i have fixed if it inspires some of you
that would be fun i think!!

i honestly tend to just leave my suff havin holes n shit and keep using it even if i could fix them,,, wouldnt mind some inspo to actually do it ....

honestly for a human those amounts of chemicals wont do much harm than anything else cancer inducing but if you have small children or animals i would avoid the whole store
afaik i cant wear clothes from them directly because when i try them on, my skin itches, probably due to the spray they use so that packages stay mold free during transit, they are fine after washing though

the forever chemicals will also seep to the waterways and come back eventually. also if you donate items you have bought from there, it will become a health hazard to other people who
shop second hand. Some shops have started to test for those chemicals
and are already trashing the super-fast-fashion clothing they get
donated, there are websites you can look at if you want to find second
hand shops that don't accept harmful chemicals but they are a huge minority. In most european countries big stores that have their production lines in china, will have to test for these harmful chemicals so most fast fashion shops you can physically go to are still better for your health than shopping them online. (to my understanding its mostly about legal issues that not-testing would induce)

It used to be popular, but now we don't have Shein in Russia

I love clothes from Aliexpress

the "models" in shein are disproportionate too, it makes clothing misleading for individuals who don't have an hourglass body shape.

i don't support third-party fashion apps that ends up letting people taking the piss for their shit quality products.

Nope. Don't support them. Even if I did, I heavily doubt the clothes or items would even last a week, let alone be safe to put on your skin. Wigs especially.
