Yes actually a lot of characters  the same characters and actors from the movies came back in the series, Daniel (og karate kid), Johnny, Kreese, Terry silver, and a lotttt of smaller characters

In Karate kid: legends that came out this year tho, I only noticed Daniel and a small cameo from johnny, but there were probably others I forgot

Actually I just love the karate kid universe so much (ignore the female karate kid and the one with jaden smith....), but it is veryy cookie cutter tho, like "oh no I just moved to a new place, and the bigger dude is bullying me!" *Enter old asian dude* "I will help you karate", and then they train bla bla blah and in the end the small new dude wins the tournament (that seems life or death lmao) and the girl. But it works for me idunno
