i hate rl dreams they can be so hard to distinguish from reality

so scary!!! still better than the nightmares i was having consistently in 2019 tho

!! hard!!! i always wonder why i never get like fluffy floating through flower fields with some cartoon character, it's always real life and scary, confusing or nonsensical...lately every dream is all 3 and i feel like i'm waking up from another dimension

mine are almost always completely divorced from reality, so i get so confused when they suddenly arent. like, im really glad but at the same time, people only seem to want to hear abt your dreams if theyre a character in it themselves

always? i only rembemer periodically, there's months and months of nothing, and then for a little while i wake up with tons of stories and then it's gone again

i can faintly remember having a dream but not the dream itself since im not waking up in the middle of it sad

ive only held onto a couple in the recent years to remember what was in them but those fade within a day or so. i miss being able to remember them vividly, i havent had one of those in years now

knowing you had a dream but it's just out of reach is so frustrating..
it really helps to write down whatever you do remember as soon as you wake up i think, if you have time, even if it's just a single thought, those are actually the funniest to read back imo because of the lack of context

second dream we were roadtripping with my uncle, my sister n my mom. we played music by stein ove berg which i bonded w uncle over in dream cause i enjoy his music irl n in dream my uncle was the one who put it on so i was like wow i like him too !!! n me n uncle talked music for a bit. thenn suddenly in car we would hear sound of ppl ringing the doorbell n knocking the door at home ??? which was so confusing to me but dreams r always silly confusing..
n we would be all quiet n then suddenly sound of someone unlocking the door w key?? n sound of voices entering the house n then suddenly we were IN the house (my moms house) n we were supa quiet n several ppl entered n i knew everyone of them n they would talk n enter the living room n then my sister said "we dont have to be quiet they cant hear us remember!) so i think mayb we were actually still in the car but mayb had microphone inside the house that played in the car?? n i was just imaginign being there?? idunno anyway i asked my mom why that person had a key to our house but i dont remember the answer. n then she told me my dad would sometims lurk around the house n knock on my sisters bedroom window?????? which was super what the helly cause i havent seen my dad in 17 yrs

then i dont rermember any more specifics from that dream but i know the dad part 100% is from what my grandma would use to do when she was alive lmaoo she would go around house n knock on my sisters window if no one answered the door

last dream i dont remember the beginning of or if i just spawned right in the middle of it but it took place in what was i guess me n my roomies apartment (just bigger n totally different from irl) n i would leave my room cause i heard voices n suddenly theres big party in our apartment?? that i had gotten no info abt so i was kinda mad. so i ask what is this ?? n roomie is like "its not my party" n im all like ??????how but then a person is like "its my party, me n my friends host game night every years its a yearly tradition" or sumthin in im so mad like why on earth r u hosting it at my place

so im supa angry n go to kitchen to get snack or drink or something n i open cabinet n............... all moomin mugs have been put together in the same cabinet WHICH IS BAD BC both me n roomie collects them so now i was like HELLO ?! how do i know which ones mine???!?!! super distraught n my friends would come n try to tell me its okay but it was NOT okay so i ws running around trying to find the perpetrator but i woke up before i could find them < / 3
