i quickly started liking him a lot and he seemed to like me a lot too. one day before going on a date he texted me "i have a surprise for you ; )" and i thought oh no its gonna be something dirty. when we met that evening he told me what the surprise was. his mom had sent a care package from italy containing all sorts of local and homemade goods from sicily, like cheeses, sausage, pasta, olive oil, coffee, tea and a bunch of snacks. he told me he would like to cook me a pasta dish using all this stuff from his home country. i actually lit rally died
a week later we randomly ended up meeting on a night out. i was too drunk and i told him that if he really actually made pasta for me i WOULD fall in love with him. i said it as if it was a warning, but he just smiled and said he wouldnt mind
unfortunately i did at least four oopsies within the past month and combined with the fact that i fall too fast and too intensely... it is currently not going well
i asked him if i was being too much. he said "maybe". so i was like ok i will give you space, text me if you ever feel like it, but if not i wont bother you anymore. he said "yes sure". tbh idk what that means and im pretending its not killing me <3

currently dont know if im wasting my time waiting for him to contact me again one magical day or if i should just accept the fact that i fumbled this one big time...


tl;dr: just the usual nothing new

no but like its on me tbh. i really treated him badly a few times. i was all over the place making sporadic choices and not taking him into consideration

uuuhhh i tried to give him a chance. like he was going to move country soon anyway so i thought might as well have a good time? 
he kept inviting me out to a fancy restaurant, even contacted the place to know if the current menu was pescatarian friendly. i straight up told him no i dont wanna go have dinner. after that he asked me like every day if he could cook for me?? i told him i dont wanna do romantic stuff. we can meet up for light company or go party together, but no date stuff. and cooking dinner for someone like that is considered too datey and romantic in my book. he told me to not overthink it as he didnt expect anything in return, he just wanted to cook for me
and like,,,, i was not overthinking yk? i was telling him my boundaries and he completely ignored them and kept overstepping. after trying to explain this to him he apologized for being too eager and said he understood 
THE NEXT DAY i get a text from him: "you like spicy food?"
after that i just told him this wasnt gonna happen. we had one fun night together but i wasnt interested in meeting again. he completely derailed, said he never considered me a friend anyways and called me fake, only to tell me ten minutes later he really liked me and he never met anyone as wonderful as me
