If it makes wuthering heights fans feel better I liked the movie enough to want to read the book. I'm glad I'm in the other camp tbh, i know I'd be fuming if I'd read the book first

i have the books but i never read them .... maybe if i watch thw movie id actually want to read it.
o bought pretty hardbook copies in english at a flea market one time for 1 euro each hehe

omggg I have so many hardcover classics i bought vintage too!! they are so pretty. haven't read a single one though... 

I have a love hate relationship w/ classic literature... at times i'm like wow this is a classic for a reason! and sometimes I'm like... wtf are yall reading this is SLOP! so yeah maybe u might be like me and enjoy the visuals of the movie but want the truest version of the story.

u just cannot pass up on a gorgeous book for a good deal ....

yeah i get that like ... its just hard to get into sometimes because classics dont follow the expected 250 page excitement curve that im accustomes to from my modern novels, ts sometimes really long and drawn out and thres just wierd things that i dnt have te history knowledge for to understand porperly as well ....
