I don't know if I'd describe it as calm, and also, panicking doesn't help. I think he was well-aware of what was going to happen. If you're interested there's also videos about the morse transmissions when Titanic sank - that's incredibly absurd to look at (with text naturally). 

My dad has allegedly been on that ferry because it operated around Vaasa for a while so he has crossed there a few times and yeah.. it must be so weird? When I was in Helsinki last year I saw one or two of the ships that helped in the situation and I stood there like it's really weird that they're still in operation because it's been a while.

Says pretty much the same as the documentary I watched with 5 episodes and 5 hours in total ish.

It's a very well writ article and yeah I assume the documentary says the same but it's just something with the article ngl
