I actually do have a male account where I did buy DM ty very much for your input!
And it's hard to be like "don't buy it" when there little to no info about the DM sets in the "speculation" thread. Especially since today he didn't even have a set put!
It might be helpful if people posted images of sets which they feel would be worth it. Its hard for anyone to know what to use instead when they see vague and subjective statements like "DM sets haven't been that great". If those who are disappointed posted sets that they do like then it might become more clear what styles everyone is hoping for.

though I guess we all need to keep in mind what I used to say a few days ago:
If only the items that all of the users (hell, even just the majority of them) would like and deem worth it got used and uploaded, then there wouldn't be any more designs from anyone

Which wouldn't go great because people here have very different styles. And let's face it, when does kaj actually listen? We could all give suggestions and he would still pick other things

honestly just
it's ur decision to buy dm or to not buy dm, and if u do decide to buy it .... i mean like i said it's ur decision
u don't have to like it but some people complain so much, and not in a nice way. it can be super discouraging to the designers lol. i honestly never want anything i make to be set as dm n if i ever see that it happens i'll jst bury myself in a hole

also this isnt  pointed at anyone i just mean in general since a lot of people seem to not think before they say stuff about the sets
even if it's maybe not "dm worthy" it still just sounds shitty when ppl talk about how bad the sets are

yea but i don't see the point in saying things like that
if u don't get any hints that make it sound like it's gonna be a set that u would enjoy then just .. don't buy dm. it's pretty simple tbh
Cause different designers have different things they consider DM worthy or nice or interesting and I feel like the first person goes like 'ah yes it's worthy and nice' the rest hop on the bandwagon and agree
Speculation threads were much more interesting and better discussed half a year ago

hm, no, I don't think that the designser have such a poor character and just go along with it. Sure, you won't have a desigern say that something is utter shit, even though they might feel like it, because they know how harda work it is to create something. But I think, that if ever there was something people don't like that much, they would say it. I mean, we (the whole community) all got balls when it comes to being rude and direct, so I just think we can also be honest about such a small thing

I think that posting negative things like " DM sets haven't been that great" accomplishes nothing towards the goal of trying to make DM better, as well. The only thing that is accomplished is making the designers feel bad which in turn causes them to stop submitting new designs for general site use.

@wren2012  In the past, when those forums have been made, Kaj has often used those sets for mega credit set week and such.

Didnt talk about threads about complainings. I meant threads that was made BEFORE DM day and people suggesting the stuff they wished. Once Kim or kaj even asked about What We wanted and even then they chose something entirely different.
i never Said anything about the designers either? I haven't even Said my opinion, i just told you?

I totally understand how sad the designers can be. I wasnt sayin' anything else.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, i wasn't saying that you were saying anything of the kind. I was quoting Sareureuk as the one who originally said it. The previous quotes just dropped off of our conversation.

And that's unfortunate that Kim and Kaj have previously chosen to ignore set requests posted by the userbase.
