nope, my political stance is too strong on this one, i have barely heard any eurovision songs in a full year now, i've maybe opened my documents like twice the past 11 months, i haven't heard any of the songs this year, i'll look into them in june, and none of the performances from israel, nothing from that show at all, big no.
Forgive me for being really uneducated on this, but what exactly is the issue with Israel? Is it "only" the Palestine issue?
The Palestine issue is a big factor here, however, I'd ignore that point if I thought the song had been worthy the win, which it imo really wasn't. I found the win to be a bit shady, and I ranked Israel at 42nd place only above UK, which is kind of a tie but I don't tie songs so .. yeah. I just can't. I also don't think Israel have anything to do in the competition, not necessarily because of geography but simply because there isn't any other Middle-East countries in the competition and I don't think they'd let anyone join so it's problematic to me.
Ah, I see. I liked the song, it was one of my favourites, so I was glad one of the right songs won for once.
