I actually believe this to be true for most all "movements" or whatever. No one is content being equal. Every single person needs to take the bad with the good, but they don't want to. These "movements" want their respective people to be treated better than everyone else.

I believe in true equality. Which, unfortunately is quite impossible. But there can be improvements here and there. There will always be bad apples in every harvest, and that very small, true statement is why there will never be equality.

In order to have it, though, it works both ways. We can't have people wanting to be above everyone else.

First of all, the wage gap does exist. I don't know where you're from, but in Sweden (a country that always claims to be very gender equal) statistics show time and again that there is a wage gap (the latest statistics show a 6-8% gap) between men and women, all factors considered, meaning that the 6-8% gap can only be attributed to gender. In most countries, men and women have equal rights on paper (as in legal equality), but still women are treated unequally in reality, for example in the work place. Just take the #metoo campaign, so many women have been sexually harassed and abused, it is a structural problem, which just shows that we don't have equality at all. We need feminism, because there is still a very long way to go before equality is achieved.

I know boys that have been raped by women and assaulted before, and no one takes them seriously and it isn't fair. When a man is drugged and date raped, no one cares to help him.

The issues surrounding rape and sexual assault or any assault should have nothing to do with being feminism. It should be decency and justice for all. Calling for justice in the name of feminism excludes anyone else who has been through it, too. This is just what I have seen.

Just because they're hurt more often as a whole doesn't mean they should be the only ones who get justice.

I do not say any of this lightly, by the way, believe me.

In a case of assault, it needs to just be humane, justice, decency. Rape is wrong no matter who you are.

If you don't mind me asking, what does feminism mean to you?

You said in your first post on the topic that feminism is a lie, and I don't see how such a statement can be accurate, since feminism is a movement and ideology, and thus can't really be talked about in terms of true/false.

Feminism is about equality, from the beginning with focus on gender equality, but today, it's so much more than that. With your example of a man being assualted, in feminist theory, that would likely be explained with the structural violence in society. Feminism demands justice and equality for everyone, not just women, not just white people, not just straight people and so on. I know you weren't referring to me, but nowhere have I said anything about violence and abuse directed towards men being less serious or less wrong. But it remains a fact that the majority of perpetrators of sexual crimes are men, and the victims are women. So while men experience violence and sexual abuse too, men's violence and harassment directed towards women is a structural problem, just as hate crimes directed at say black people or gay people are examples of structural problems. Violence in general then, is another example of a structural problem that enables crimes directed towards both men and women. We need an intersectional perspective to understand the layers and overlappings of structural problems in order to be able to change them. When talking about equality, it has to be for everyone, everything else is nonsense.

The industry is very depressing when you get to know more about it... Some companies just don't give a fuck about the humans that are in the groups at all and only care about the money they can make of them.
