i mean the issue with speaking is that i learned norwegian for three years before doing danish so when i try to pronounce anything it just kinda comes out norwegian bc its all written the same

listening is an issue bc yall dont pronounce things properly
I can see how that'd be difficult to navigate yeah, but it shouldn't be too big of an issue in regards to others understanding you.

Yeah uhm.. We like cutting of endings or swallowing syllables..
ud think that right !! no one has any idea what im saying

and pronouncing the D as an L
But isn't that just because they are taken aback? I guess not o:

My mom n her hubby are going out to village pub n leaving me at their place cause I don’t wanna go so I’m just gonna vibe n eat iced cream on nye, then on New Year’s Day I’m travelling back home!

I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions but I do hope to be a bit of a better student the next semester
that's a vibe tho', no judgement. prolly pretty much same for me.
safe travels though!!

fair
bf's friends just do it on their own with like 50 kr per person but i declined to join bc i will already feel like a winner if i understand what the king is saying in the first place
Ahaha that's fair. You're learning danish then?
After my brother got treatment for a gambling issue, I've just stayed all the way away, though betting has never been my thing either.
i think thats a healthy mindset
i like gambling in like. gacha games, but i have the poor people mindset that prevents me from actually spending money to buy more gacha. i either get what i want thru no payment means or i give up. thank u growing up poor for making me very cautious with money.
same, i force of will get things in gacha/dress up games or i don't get them. i'm too frugal to actually spend money on stuff like that and it's easier to never start than stop if u have an addictive personality (idk if i do or not but...)
