FT: Our favorite recipes

Hello there, dear people of veepee!

How's life? What you up to?

Aaaaaaanyway, today I thought maybe we could share some recipes w/ each other. What's your fave recipe? Could be anything from breakfast or dinner to bread or pastries. Vegan, non-vegan, anything. My personal favorite is one of a smörgåstårta (yeah no, not one of those boring ones with ham, cheese and tomatoes).

Eh. Yeah.

Here's the recipe:
2 packs of hönökaka or similar bread (if half, put halves next to each other to make round)
Bottom + 3rd layer:
* 2 hard boiled eggs (diced)
* 200g (1 can) of tuna
* 2 dl creme fraiche/fat sour cream
* 1 dl mayonnaise
* 1 tbsp of curry powder
Mix together with spoon or w/e and spread on bottom layer (then on 3rd layer).
2nd layer:
* 1 can of red caviar
* 1 dl creme fraiche
* 1/2 dl mayonnaise
* 1/2 dl fine cut chives
Mix together with whatever and spred on 2nd layer.
Top layer:
* 1 dl creme fraiche
* 1 dl mayonnaise
* 400 g shrimps
* 200 g diced cucumber
* 1 can of black caviar
Mix mayonnaise + creme fraiche and spread it on the top layer. Put shrimps, cucumber and caviar on top.

Okay, here we go

Homemade flatbread

1. Preheat your oven to the highest temperature possible
2. Combine yeast, flour, salt and water in a bowl until you have an even dough (Like you would normally make a pizza dough) - the amount is up to you
3. Let the dough rest under a dishtowel for 30 minutes
4. Take pieces from the dough approximately half the size of your hand
5. Roll them into balls until all dough is used
6. Let the balls rest under a dishtowel for 10-15 minutes
7. Get your rolling pin and flatten each individual ball into a thin pancake
8. Lay each pancake under a dishtowel again,  meanwhile heat up a pan on high heat
9. When the pan is heated check if you oven is the same
10. Grab a pancake and put it on the pan
11. When bubbles starts forming all over the pancake, throw it in the oven
12. Take it out of the oven once it has puffed up like a balloon
13. Put it under a dishtowel to keep warm

Now you have flatbread

Suggestions to pair it with:
Lentil soup
Feta & olives
Hummus
Sour cream

mine is:
Storebought tomatosoup with cottage cheese
Tortellini

Takes 3 minutes to cook
