Let's start!

I thought I'd offer a Christmas poem that makes me feel happy and long for Christmas Eve.
Here's the poem:

It's Christmas again,
yes, soon it'll be Christmas again,
and then no one should be gloomy.
Look at the white flakes falling
on the spruce and birch and pine,
they'll help us nicely for Christmas.

Now the sled is pulled
and wiped clean of all the dust,
and the ski is tightened tightly around the foot.
The summer was good,
but the snow is good to have,
come out and help us welcome one.

The lights are hung and the streets start to glow. It's that time of the year,
when kids are just dying to play and make angels in the snow.

The ground is frozen and the world is covered in frost,
but the undeniable warmth of amity comes with little to no cost.

You just stand there as you listen to the joy and laughter,
people coming together after so long as if all the time lost in between didn't matter.

Presumably too busy with the charming decorations and frills,
To notice the creeping arctic chills.

For it's that time of the year,
where people are so desperate to forget and pretend,
that their clock of temporary happiness isn't ticking to an end.

Christmas is here, with it's old familiar carols and holly jolly cheer.
Don't blink, you might just miss it, and you wouldn't want that now would you, dear?
