Here's mine!

When I first joined VP, the lovely WRENCH introduced me to the site and gave me little shoutouts and such, a whole LOT of people gave PD, CR and hundreds of items, various clothing, hairs, backgrounds etc. I was given so much stuff and monies when I first joined and I hadn't expected such an amazing welcoming. It was literally a good 20-25 seperate people in the end that sent me more than 1 item. I don't think anyone ever just gave me 1 thing. I appreciated it so much then, and I still appreciate it now. It made me feel welcome, and I was far less anxious about reaching out in forums, or PM/startalk, or just talking nonsense and having a laugh because of how amazing everyone had been when I started out. I also try to give to new players at least something or PD/CR, paying the great kindness forward when I can. ^^
