the thing is, this excuses the mods/admins from having to clean up a mess if somebody does fuck up. if they say it's against the rules, then people won't come crying to them if they get scammed because they were warned against it already. it's a preventative measure. if anything, if you trust someone enough to actually commit to doing this, you can discuss it in private and they wouldn't be reporting you anyway. and if you don't trust them to not report you.. don't trust them with your money/virtual riches (no warning pls just being real). that's how i view it.Â
