What did you enjoy? - Having a new fun event in VP! Things ran smoothly in my opinion. It was also nice to stalk what people bid :'D

What did you not enjoy? - Seeing tons of auction threads in the competitions section. However I understand if they must stay there for a certain period time. Seeing winning bids fluctuate a lot (for females, from like 15cr to 500ish. And this was probably because so many copies are being given out)

What would you improve? Hold the auctions for one weekend only, so that the amount ig would be ~40. Another idea maybe have a starting bid (like 10cr males, 20-30 for females) -> the sets wouldn't be given out multiple times for ridiculously low prices. Wasn't one purpose of this event to get credits off the system?

What went well? - The codes were sent quickly. I also think that it was a nice idea to lock the sets before all copies are given out (compared to the other auctions).
I can understand that with the forums.
That's why once a code has been received by the winner I have be re-scheduling the forums for the next time to help keep them nice and tidy <3 I hope that's been working out at least! Like if you go and look now you won't see any from before 16:30.

I agree with the starting bids and maybe having a starting bid also depending on the set and a minimum and maybe a new max increase figure?
Yes, that too!

Another point I forgot to mention was seeing the bids increase by as low as 1cr. If there was a minimum that you must bid e.g. 5cr more than current highest bid for it to count?

The person with the highest bid at the end of the time period get's the set.
You just can't go (for males anyway) 50c - 100c as it's more than a 20c jump.
Oh, I thought it meant you need to overbid with at least 20 cr
No it say's that the maximum bid is 20c haha.
Okay I get it now, thanks for the info c:

I think it was a good start. :d The forums worked well and the code was sent quickly.~

I agree with making it last only 1 weekend... by today the set got so cheap...
80ig is way too much, so the plan of taking CR out of the game didn't really work. :\ This Sol set could've gone for much more CR if it was a LE shop set (with 80ig...) So I agree with setting a minimum price/ starting bid for the sets.

I've added some good suggestions in the first post that I agree with <3

I get the overwhelming too, i think i was also just really confused.
I was confused about the way to bid, why bids could be invalid? Besides that i also saw that if u join the auction house and didnt bid, u couldnt bid for the rest of it. But when is entering to late? if i didnt bid last week, but bid this week, is it invalid because i joined the house last time and didnt bid?
It really seemed very confusing and stressful for me.

It also kinda crowded the forum section, which i wasnt the biggest fan off, but that i can see aside.

I didn't really understand the auctions. I thought it said that bids should go up with 20 cr per bid.

So I had bid 10 cr on the male set, another male offered 12 cr and I didn't win

I'm not personally a fan of the forum auctions. I liked that people could only win once, giving other people a chance ot win the sets, but it made the forums crowded and of course people just waited until the last minute to bid anyway. You had the set selling for like 600cr at the beginning and then someone winning it for 1cr later. It's kinda overwhelming having 3 auctions in a month. Idk, I guess I just don't understand the appeal since we have a system that does auctions decently already (minus the only winning once part)
This!

- I personally also think this is a huge waist of male sets since there is barely enough for wof/hof/dm/prizes for comps/events.
- I personally won't be able to and don't want to pay a lot for a set which mean it's going to be those who have the most cr and always wins the normal auctions that is going to win this too.
- I also don't think it's fair that we get to pay credits for a set other servers got as a code.

@Ella
The terms were linked within every forum that the winners were posted in.
I also sent out a mail on Friday with a link to the forum with the rules in.

The way it was set up is that you need to 'enter' the auction by agreeing to the terms before you make the bid. Think of a real life auction or even like Ebay or something. You agree to the terms and conditions before you start your bidding.

I even linked it out a few times last week.

If it helps the terms are here:

I'm not disputing that it may seem confusing, but I just wanted to explain why I did it the way I did haha.

Honestly I think it went pretty good. I really didn't see anything to complain about. I like the amount set for ig, the Times frames were reasonable. I mean the prices were kinda allover the place..but I mean it's whatever(just being biased about this sjnce I only paid 1cr for the set). I do have to say that the idea of a starting bid price might be a good idea, as long as bidding didn't get OVER exaggerated

Here's my take, I agree on having fewer male auctions because honestly there aren't 80 active, main males so it's pointless, then one might as well just give the code out to all males at the first auction. I disagree with the proposed start bid on males, I think 10 cr would honestly create an artificial high price for a male set. I understand that it might seem weird for main fems but with all due respect, 10 cr for a set that it will be about 20? for is a lot as the starting price for males. Considering how I assume it is probably maximum 30 active, main males.. Yeah.. 2/3 or more of the males will probably end up with the set. It should be a starting bid, but it should be about 5 cr. If you compare this with the regular auctions, it's just the cold harsh facts that the 10 first ones are sold between 20 and 100 cr while the remaining might as well be sold for 3 cr because suddenly everyone who wanted it already has it.
For fems I completely understand the "increasing how much you can bid above the current leading bid" plus setting a minimum increase. On the male side? that doesn't make sense.
It's also important to keep in mind that there isn't a lot of cr among male mains, one factor is how little those are actually worth, you could easily have 3000 cr but if the 6 people with the item won't sell, no amount of cr is going to change that anyway. Also another factor on that is that at most people buy cr for 24e and that's around 5 people a month so yeah.. I don't think it is needed to have a minimum increase or increase the maximum bid because ?? did anyone ever bid even close to 20 cr above leading bid this time?
It appeared that once the leading bid was around 20 to 30 cr it was like nah fam I'll wait for the next auction.

God this was chaotic rip to all readers.

As everyone else has said, I don't think there needs to be so many rounds of the auction

Also it would be nice if you could get tagged or notified when you've won an action, cause I legit had no idea about the one I did win until I got the pm
