Hi, I’m Mss! It hurts a little that you don’t know me yet, ngl 😭 but I’m currently a Mod in DE, so I thought maybe some people might recognise some of my designs. I’ve been around since 2016 and have been part of various teams here over the years.

I’ve also been working as a designer and director at an advertising agency in Germany for over 5 years now, and I’m currently a Creative Director there.
So hi, I’m Mss! 👋 I hope that gives you a very quick and brief idea of who I am and why I’m involved. 😭

I originally reached out to Enbette when they were looking for members for the Core Team, because I really wanted to help out with the redesign.

people have asked why not make minor tweaks to the current one, but i think enbette has mentioned that this is nearly impossible without having to redesign the whole thing anyways? don't quote me on that though

i don't think a redesign is inherently a bad thing though, i think there are certain elements of the site that could benefit from being redesigned
things i personally would like to see different are:
- warderobe overhaul - i think this is something different than redesigning the layout but this is i think everyones number one priority
- different buttons for the homepage/bank/games etc
- being able to see whole outfits in the forums without having to hover over them (now when using a big bg ur avi becomes super small)
- more options to customise forum posts
- extensive profile and blog post customisation, i feel like this is such missed potential as there are sure to be ppl on here who'd love to spend time on that and do commissions which improves credit circulation and time spent on the site
- blog posts in general should be easier to use, substack is trending and ppl for sure have things they'd love to share on here but the blog post layout is so dated and boring that it's not fun to use. commenting on blog posts is hidden away below the post and very small / limited
- easier navigation to the forums maybe? now when u click on social u get redirected to startalk, which is good because i'd for sure miss the messages if it didn't, but you'd expect it to take u to the forums.
when u arrive at the forum section, it's the categories, not the forum posts. this makes visibility of threads more limited if they're not on the front page. not sure how it'd be better different though
- being able to change the site bg
- multiple color themes could be cool but also feel like that shouldnt be where the limited time goes to
- no grey as main color, ever, please

i really like the mockup devilcake shared above for mobile users
i'd hate for a redesign to completely change up vps looks!!

this looks cute, obviously this uses different elements than vp has but something like this with the threads on top, buttons like the ones on the right on the artwork, everything playful and layered, it has the feel of a dressup game site

this is the same idea, the inventory buttons could be navigation buttons, etc. but its playful and fun and pixelart-y

this is less playful and a bit more 'static' but something like this could be fun though i feel like it feels a lot like current vp already

UKs image + NSFW online laws makes vp look so ugly because half of the website looks like broken images. its one of the reasons ive personally stopped coming online.
idk if there is any way to combat that in terms of redesign. just the initial log in and seeing broken images just irks me and makes me log off right away. theres probably more brits that think the same.. especially newbies..?
