Well I'm not exactly sure to apply based on our mails but oh well just incase.
Technically, I brought up the Tumblr/Twitter in the Event Team a long while ago before Social media and Blogging badges were arisen onto VP. I've helped numerous sites grow and
- I've taken a VET course in Online Community Management (Which was in Sydney) So I know how to traffic users easily with the use of promotions, pictures, banners, and constant user engagement
- I have both proficient language in Turkish, English, and Simple Danish.
- I'm able to HTML and code some stuff.
- I'm a daily user of facebook
- There's alot of freetime on my hands right now due to interim break.
- I have managed pages on goSupermodel before, so I know how to appeal to the users of the site and come up with new marketing techniques especially over facebook.
However, I think I'm fitted for both jobs equally, So I wouldn't exactly mind doing whatever you feel like is right.
With Tumblr-I've got over 5,000 followers on my personal one and I know how to traffic and build users onto the website along with managing themes and the use of gimp/PS etc to create text and buttons and promotion pictures. I'm currently working on a theme as of now which you've seen and I'm creating a couple of numerous banners and pictures to be reblogged. I would love to work as a Tumblr person as that's where I'm the best at.
What I had in mind for Tumblr was:- VPBOTW (VP Blogger Of the Week) / POTW (Popstar of the week)
- "About VP" Page
- F.A.Q (Frequently asked Questions about VP + Tumblr)
- "How-To" page on Virtual Popstar (Tutorials on how to use VP.)
- "Competitions" Page updated weekly with prizes and so on. (Competitions range from sharing the site around and reblogs.)
- Submit - Where users can submit designs, etc.
With Facebook-I'm a constant Facebook user myself and I'm able to keep up to date with VP at the same time - I know how to speak in a professional manner
(Which is important when using facebook or any other social media to promote something as slang talk would not appeal that much. - Besides the use of "LOL" obviously) Along with that, I'll probably be able to put ad-sponsors in Facebook for VP to appear on the side lines if it doesn't cost much and that will get peoples attentions, regularly.
Other than that,
Goodluck to everyone.
