in theory sure, but it always comes back to the skills and tools of the front-end dev tbh. vp's current layout is not too far off from the school projects i did almost a decade ago (sharp-edged boxes galore) and ppl were barely tipping their toes in the mobile friendliness territory. i never managed to make a working mobile friendly page lmao which either means we had shitty tools or a shitty teacher... or the third secret and most probable answer: both since our teacher's knowledge was ancient at that point and the tools our school provided were severely outdated even for the timeTeabag wrote:

I really don't mean any offense but isn't it possible to achieve the same design with a different (and more modern) code behind it all? I have seen people rebuilt the complete look of win95 with modern code and apart from very minor differenced (eg the way you click on things) it looks exactly the same. Melody wrote:
can i ask what you would focus on? enbette has stated that none of the site upgrades we've asked for can be achieved on the way the site is currently coded (including wardrobe changes, mobile friendliness, many other features that require coding which is just about everything)
i agree that i don't want the site's theme to change by much, however updating the coding of the site is huuuuuge priority if you ask me
