to be fair, those skins were released together , like those 3 sets were a Collection so it makes sense. i think its less abt Recolouring Being Illegal and more about .  using the same stuff always always always
and the hairs..? sol do be recolouring stuff so thats nothin new. there was talk abt rules regarding recolours to make sure that recoloured items all had to be around the same amount ig (to avoid things like this example, one colour being worth much more than another)
but idk if any rules were ever decided on heh

i've just understood it as in some designers doesn't like designing skins as much, so maybe they could avoid it and let those who enjoy it more do it?? i guess that would cut down on the amount of skins
