i mean ofc you can do it in forums but for example like high in game items that dont sell in marketplace you can just auction and maybe someone will buy it? c:

Although there are already many ideas in the comments, I'll leave mine as well: perhaps we could increase the number of old items by reusing them in auctions or as a limited item in the shop, we have so many items stuck with players who haven't logged in for years, and even though I can't access their accounts, I think increasing the in-game of these items is not a bad idea.
I also think that bringing back some older sets to the shop for a limited time would help to boost sales.

i mean, to be honest... the levels are kind of silly in and of themselves... like others have said. that entire part of the game is just kind of... theme? it doesn't really matter. as long as you are high enough to trade, the level makes no difference except bragging rights and a slight increase in pd...

like there's cool art/clothes, nostalgia, and a comfortable little community but honestly... that's all vp is at this point. it's not really a "game" more like a forum where people grab clothes n dress up sometimes...

not necessarily saying it *can't* be that but... idk what my point is tbh. idk if i would spend money regardless since i don't spend money on any other sites either...

i mean it would be fine if you only had to do it once.. but to keep the level you need to have a manager at all times...

for virtual popstar, the concept of a "virtual popstar" basically ends when you finish the tutorial... and there's so many things the tutorial doesn't explain since like 99% of the game isn't really trying to "be a good popstar"

idk if something like that would be an anchor for consistency for new players or just a weight for everyone though...

but like... i came for the wd and stayed for the wd. i can see why new players wouldn't want to stay with only that though given the options for sites. i basically didn't talk for like the first 3 years here and that was kinda fine w/ me. i've literally played dress up/forum/web/etc games and never talked to anyone the entire time. but most people aren't like that. most won't stay for an amazing wd and... a lot of confusing, slow, undirected nostalgia, a chill but kind of established/wary community, and basically no distinct game.

(i'm sorry, i love vp and it's potential honest, i'm just... idk analyzing the situation. idk if this post has a point either...)

we use male sets for every other purpose still and we havent had a male motivation event in a while, so we dont have a lot of male sets to spare
