so you start out by clicking anywhere, right
if you see a 1, you know that one of the 8 boxes touching that box is a bomb. Often you'll have an isolated mine surrounded by ones. If the box is marked with a 2, two of the adjacent boxes are mines. You use the process of elimination to figure out which ones are the mines. You can right-click to flag which ones you think are mines, but honestly its a waste of time
