I still hate this but this will be way less upsetting. You were gonna cause a real problem with such late notice for only hours.

would be great if it would start on weekend (e.g. fri/sat) and end during the weekend, and not start on a weekday since i think most ppl would contribute the best if it was weekend when the comp took place

Mostly because a lot of people are probably already asleep and will be mad about it in the morning, postponing it gives more people a chance to know about it beforehand
