it's alright, just need to update the main post with requests as they come in!! you've got the list and can compile it on the front page as it updates.

Well yes it is pointed at you because you’re the only core team actually here and who didn’t like people voicing their opinions I was trying to not be mean by going well Elisia derailed it a bit 👍 ik yr being hyperbolic but you realize the 100s of players were like idk 5 right like 😭it just feels a bit disingenuous or like idk self important to phrase it that way when ppl are trying to voice their opinions to and about a team you chose to be a part of and made a thread on behalf of 😭

i don't think devilcakes message was in any way negative about you personally ur just currently the only core team member here, i think he's just explaining what the two 'irrelevant' pages were about? in parentheses because i don't think the pages were irrelevant

It could be an okay supplement maybe, to add in a thread like this to accompany the discussion and then both could be compiled

when creating threads like these please keep in mind that criticism doesn't equal how we see you (elisia) as a person at all, i think you're great and super sweet but i still have thoughts about the site's layout which im going to voice, and i think it's amazing that mss wants to develop the new layout in her free time and i admire her skill but i still have thoughts and dislikes that i'm going to voice because if i don't what is even the point of a revamp youknow?

sometimes the way you and some others first say your opinions on topics like these, they come across as harsh or upset, before it's cleared up. i can see where the confusion in tone is.

i have explicitly stated on all my feedback how it's nothing personal and so on because i know sometimes messages can feel harsh, however (and i feel this very very strongly) i as a player should not have to do that to protect the feelings of someone in a developing team (= coreteam, enbette, mss, admins, everyone) when they're asking for feedback on their ideas. even when someone is very bad at communicating in a super thoughtful way, they should still be able to voice their concerns and opinions. it is the job of the developing team to disregard tone and read what is actually being said
(and obviously this is to a certain extent, within vp's official rules of conduct. if i start cursing and throwing a fit by all means give me a timeout or something, that's (hopefully obviously) not the point im making)

I mean it wasn't about you, but i do think we have a personal responsibility on a forum where you can't immediately tell tone (and people have issues with that hence tone tags) to at least try to say what you're saying as respectful and kindly as possible.

The issue comes in, in acting like people should just accept whichever way you said it because it's supposed to be constructive, even if it comes across bad when you didn't mean it to.

Yes everyone is passionate, but if passion comes across as something else, it's easy to say hey i didn't even mean it like that

I don't think Elisia is wrong for perceiving them as maybe not so nice, and i don't think they should be jumped for voicing how they perceived it. Yes, it's her job as the core team rep to look and gather all of this info, but i think we can make it easier for them by being concise and kinder about it.
