I relate to that! I ended up leaving as I was on my gap year and still struggled to write articles every month - sadly, I just hated everything I wrote : (
Honestly same. My time management sucks and my procrastination is immense! A lot of my time goes from hanging out with my boyfriend though (it sounds a little sappy xD I sound like a girl whose obsessed with her boyfriend but it's more that we're best friends :3).
That and my joint condition still saps up so much of my energy. I really need to get back into pilates - I think it'll help my mental and physical health a lot more than I realise :3
Maybe writing some shorter pieces and putting them in a blog here might help? Because then you won't feel like you
have to do it, but it will still be a way for you to get into writing outside school again. How is studying creative writing like btw? I've always wondered how you actually study that.
I'm sorry to hear that. I barely do any exercise myself (I really should though), but it sounds like something that could definitely be beneficial to you, so you should definitely get into it again if you can!
That's what I'm considering :3 I'm very all or nothing and I think posting in blogs here would be good. I can always move them over to an "official" blog if I decided later :3 ! It was always fun posting pieces here that was mainly just cause I wanted to write them rather than what I thought people wanted to read!
It's odd, I can't lie xP but I love it!
An assignment I just turned in focused on "Writing Place" and how Location is so important and can become, essentially, another character in your story. I wrote an alternate magical realism piece about a place in my hometown :3
One assignment I need to turn in after Christmas is building a website and creating a narrative through it ("a Hypertext Narrative). I'm planning to create a character creation narrative (such as Animal Crossing - like when you wanna change your hair colour and you pick a word, e.g. Lighthearted, the result is Blonde hair) :3
It's weird but it's great! Then you have to write reflective essays on the work you just did which kinda suck but I'll take them over Film essays ANY DAY!! (The film essays are what are currently crushing my soul!)
That's okay <3 Saame, I'm not the most active person either! Thank you! Very true, it helps to build muscle to help support my joints (my condition means I essentially don't have any "glue" holding my joints in place) and stops me getting so tired. I also found I was just generally happier after I'd done it.
Um, I'm not sure I understood what all of that meant, but it sounds interesting. XD I've never thought of myself as a creative person, and I've never really been into writing, but sometimes I just get an idea, and decide to write something anyway. It's mostly dialogue-based for me, I'm not good at the whole descriptive part. I tend to find it unnecessary with very detailed descriptions when I read fiction, since it doesn't seem to add anything to the story, but that might just be me.
