they should put their personal opinions about the applicants aside, it has nothing to do with being on the team. it's all about their ability to design.. but they know that already
well yeah but we're all human =) it would affect my decisions too at least on some level

Unless its in a way like 'I hate this person nd dont want them to get their badge bc of that' but that doesnt make sense to me bc I'd just look for ppl who make good quality stuff + are likely to stay in the team for a long time bc they're active nd stuff

Tho i guess a lot of shit played a role last time bc im pretty sure i wouldn't have gotten in if I only designed for female instead of male + if I had been less active

but so does not getting along with other team members

I'm pretty sure it has A LOT to do with how known you are in general. Like how long you've been on the site and designed things regularly and stuff. And there's a good reason for why people vote on those kinds of people - bc we have tools that could fuck up VP.

So it has to do with:
1. Skill.
2. How known you are. / What repp you've got. 
3. How regularly you design. 

I can't talk for everyone but that's what went through my mind when I voted on people. And I think it's safe to assume a lot of people thought like that too. Bc it makes sense. 

Not saying that those who didn't win ISN'T trustworthy. It's more of a case that maybe those who won are a bit more known. Bc there's a difference there.
