thanks ! it was really interesting to read.

tbh i think ive had IBS for years, but my doctor refuse to either "diagnose" it or send me to a dietitian to help me. And idk what to do.
I think doctors are there to cure you. Maybe you should remember them on that. What could also work is go with someone with a really strong opinion. It maybe sounds weird, but if I go to the doctor with my dad to help me, (only if necessary lol) the doctor listens immediately.

yeah i agree, but it kinda makes me feel like im a difficult case bc she wanna do all these tests and find another reason to my intestinal problems that actually can be cured i think. Idk if shes obsessed with only find a illness that is curable. Im like loosing weight bc of my issues and its starting to feel quite severe atm. to be completely honest im not in a good place and it fucking shows.

Omg so sorry for my personal spill here, that wasn't my intention.. lol

If it feels better, you can message me as well <3 Sometimes it’s so nice to talk about these things! I only talk about it with like 2 friends and my parents. So it gets lonely. So it’s good for you as well to talk about it.

But I can’t say if it can be cured or not, but I can say that you shouldn’t give up. I did a really strict diet and found it out for myself that way. Others do blood tests and again others do it in another different way. But don’t give up. Taking care for yourself can be hard enough already and if food becomes your enemy, it’s even harder..

thank you <3 Yeah ill think about it since i am kinda tired now

I kinda think its like some skin lines perhaps? idk like you can keep it in control until it flares up again( i have no idea sorry). but i think its mostly chronic. i at least havent heard of a proper cure that works 100%. what i meant by curable is that my doctor maybe dont like to diagnose me with anything chronic but im not really sure

I understand completely :x It's annoying as shit. People never understand if they don't have it.
YES. My main symptom is diarrhea basically everyday no matter what I eat. I manly avoid wheat and milk (I eat cheese tho) and baecause of my allergies egg and nuts. What about you and ”your” ibs?
That sounds hard D: Cause those things are in everything! What do you eat for example?

I have a lactose intolerance, and now my bowels and stomach don't like garlic, onions, beans, caffein, thein, vegetables that makes gas (like caulliflower and broccoli) so I can't eat a thing without getting nauseous either
Well, for example this is what I ate yesterday!

Breakfast: oatmeal and a cup of peppermint tea
Lunch: chicken with red bell pepper and rise
Snack: some gluten free bread and orange juice
Dinner: the same chicken with red bell pepper and rise + some salad
Evening snack: muesli with oatjogurt and berries (strawberries and raspberries, sometimes a bit of blueberries)

I can’t eat any of those you mentioned. Also foods that cause a lot of abdominal pain are mango, coconut and apparently banana. Haha
what about you?
