A little while ago, we asked you which updates you wished for most. A lot of good ideas came to our attention and we sincerely thank you for them. Some of these ideas have been implemented as of today.
We know a lot of you would like to have some new games, but this is not an option at the moment because of the high costs. We will look into this at a later stage.
Later this year, we’ll definitely have another update-round! Today, we happily introduce the following extra options on Virtual Popstar.
*Multiple favourite looks:*
In your wardrobe, the buttons ‘Load Favourite’ and ‘Save Favourite’ will open a window with multiple look boxes. This update is available to all players. You don’t need a Manager or Diamond Membership, nor is it hard to use.
You can save your current look in a specific box and easily load it, with a maximum of six favourite looks at the same time. There will be an extra tab on your profile where the saved looks will be visible to visitors. This way, everyone can look at your creations. Don’t want others to see your outfits? You can disable the function by checking the box ‘hide my favourite looks’ in your profile settings.
*Extra filter options for currencies:*
At the upper right corner of the Marktplaza (Vintage) and Fashion Shop, there is a new filter for currency (popdollar, credits and promotion points).
*New Vintage for full sets:*
Since it’s now possible to buy and sell complete sets, there is high demand for a Vintage for full sets. This is one of the big updates we’ve managed to develop today!
There is a new store visible at the shops. You can click on the mirror icon to try on a full set and click again to put on your previous outfit.
The buying process is the same as buying single items in the Vintage. Just like the normal Vintage, there are multiple buy buttons of different currencies, in case there are multiple sellers of the same set. ‘Filter on colour’ works in this shop as well. It’s triggered by individual items from the set. If the set has a pink and black item, the set will show on both the black and pink filter. Filtering on ‘My wishlist’, ‘LE items’ and ‘Sets’ looks at individual items as well as full sets on your wishlist. If the set was made by different designers, the set will be shown on both designer’s label.
*Virtual Popstar modernised:*
Solovey remade almost every image on the website, giving the site a cleaner, more modern and mature look. We’ve also decided on a new font and emojis.
*Other adjustments:*
The titles in the shop and wardrobe have been removed. You can now make looks without the hindrance of a title hovering over your avatar.
The order of forum categories has been changed according to use.
Lastly, there have been a couple of database improvements. With more than a million topics, blogs and articles, this was necessary to make and keep Virtual Popstar faster. You probably won’t notice much of it, but it’s an important update and it cost a lot of time. We want Virtual Popstar to stay, forever.
