i dont think most ppl actually really play their side accounts? like even if the item would be more ig coz more ppl claimed it, doesnt really do anything if the acc is still mostly inactive coz its a side

For collector purposes? I don't know. Anyway, I think male items are not as expensive as female items, so having a male side won't really bring you profit.
If there were more claims for the codes, more people could have them. Female codes are limited too and there are people left out if they're not around when the code is out. You have to be around to get the code, if you're not playing that much you'll not have it, so if a male main is left out, he's left out for not being around. I just feel like this overrestriction is not making anyone want to have a male account and we're ending up with a catch-22.

I have a male side acc. I made it so I could claim my own designs on it when I do male designs. 
And it's actually kinda nice so have another wb to play around in once in a while.... but I dunnu XD

many use their side accounts for mcw and then sell the extra sets idk

The longer they wait, the more items they have to allocate.  

Though, I can understand them, it's a lot of work. But I think this suggestion should be considered, because the 'male-issue' didn't have any better solution offered yet and it could work. Though, apart from allocating, I don't know what other things should be re-worked, it must be more than this. Plus, the economical issue it would bring is unpredictable, the males would hate the higher prices, maybe some of them would quit, but some of them would buy more credits to afford things, we don't know.
