is. Good enough. And we were 3 years ago. Yes, I can think of a few major updates myself, but the game itself is just fine and it is just finished. You can go on forever, but I don't want that. What we really need are new games. Which are really too expensive, sorry, I'm not going to pay 10,000 euros for the development and integration per mini-game that might be "fun" for you but will really not do anything for the site as a whole. (people don't buy more or less credits for it) so that won't happen. And then some people will say that it can be cheaper, that's right. That is what we have now. But then you have buggy games.
In particular, everything has to be changed again in the technical structure behind the scenes to keep VP safe, and the https protection must come. As some know, we recently had an incident on the English VP that a smart hacker still finds a way to manipulate VP because the code was out of date. So my focus remains the same as in recent years when the updates were mainly about the technology under the hood, and that is no longer wasting money on expensive games or updates that seem fun to players, but ensuring that VP remains technically safe and intact. So I will do this next month. Because it is my intention that this site will remain online for many years to come. Even if the site is no longer profitable.
Everything that I have now will eventually flow back to VP in the future when the sales are less than the costs and maintenance to keep the site afloat. I am not a gosupermodel boss who immediately pulls the plug when things go a little less. I have principles. Plus, I don't live off the profits from VP, the profits from VP are genuine but a very small part of my income with other companies and investments. From a financial point of view, VP is just a side issue for me. Not that this concerns you. But it is what it is. I keep this website online because I know how much it means to some of you and because I WANT that, not because I have to or I would miss out a lot.
You reading this. You don't even know me, have no idea who I am, what I do and how I am. What principles I have or what my private life looks like. Just some opinions based on negative gossip and prejudice from a couple of teenagers who shout. You may have seen a video of me once or seen me on a measurement and said hi, but you don't know me. You have no idea how I feel about VP. That's right, I've had a big mouth on VP often enough, and the players too, whoever gives a big mouth to me can expect him back. Owner of the site or not. Who cares? I dont! But you do so I keep myself absent instead of allowing myself to be provoked by stokers and haters. Better for the atmosphere here. Everyone happy.
My wife, unlike my ex, has nothing to do with VP, so there is no more nagging about that I favor someone. But the fact is, because I and my partner are no longer involved with VP, we are not particularly motivated to invest private money in expensive updates that I see no commercial value for. It's all a lot of hassle, updates. And stress on my side because everything is always going wrong and I don't feel like it anymore dude.
I think VP is a nice website people are enjoying themselves here and it is fun. Much more fun than playing a little on your own on the XBOX. VP is just old-school. I wouldn't make a super-modern, complicated game out of it even though I won the lottery. What VP is and that it works differently than the more modern games, I think is part of VP's charm. It is quiet and uncluttered and just nice to grab. Of course I am also disappointed by the bugs that occasionally occur in the mini-games, but they simply cannot be resolved. Sorry, it's what it is. If you find it too annoying, don't play them, but don't complain again and again. I can also just take them permanently offline. Then there are no more mini-games with bugs. But then there are no more mini games at all. It is what it is.Finally.
Fact remains. Because some here and again did so unkind and dissatisfied to me and I felt that I could never do anything good here, whatever I did, I left here. I have handed over the leadership to the great admins who are doing super well. Best choice ever, peace for me and for you. I love it, I can do my thing and if there is a real problem, I will immediately hear from them and I will make sure that it is resolved as quickly as possible. I have always done that, and I will continue to do so.
Nobody can break my love for VP. Virtual Popstar is my creation, my playground, my child. I am proud of it and the website remains online in the current context
