During those times, there are usually less than thirty people online. I think that looking for people in that time zone when the website grows would be a good idea, I don't think there is any urgent need for moderators right now.
During those times however are people from different countries; usually new people looking for help or people whom know when the mods aren't on and decide to advertise other websites such as what happened earlier last week where a girl was cussing VP and advertising smallworlds and saying how shitty this website was and today a new vp user was having trouble navigating and learning the actual website and rules to go with it with no moderator in place as a mentor.
Even though there may be less than 30 people (Which i've seen reach up to 85+ people with no mod) it's useful for people to have mods online to help clear out spammers, advertisers, and all that bullshit out. It's 24/7 Security and moderation which most websites secure in place.
Who was advertising SmallWorlds?
We tried looking for moderators from Australia or people who log in at that time, but there were less than an handful and not all of them were fit to be moderators at the time.
Next time, we will stress finding people for that time zone. Most of the current moderators are American or British because the website is mostly US/UK.
