Recently, some people have voiced their concerns over the Admin job not being done properly, and even though it is hard to admit your shortcomings sometimes, the concerns are absolutely valid. There's a couple of things I want to adress:
The first thing is, Decode is still on board for VP, however they have been dealing with health issues. Due to privacy, I will not go into detail, but I will mention that it is pretty serious and we don't know when they'll be able to come back. Currently there is no talk about getting someone new involved.
The second thing is, I have been severely lacking in performing my duties. I did not intend to make light of the situation with the way I phrased the update message, though I understand now how it may read that way. I apologize for this, and I have been apologizing for that, but nothing has really changed, so those apologies became meaningless. I understand all of that very well, which is why I have decided to step down from my role as Admin, as I no longer have the time, energy or motivation to do this. Reading your concerns has gotten me to admit that to myself. I have already messaged Etjen to let him know, including some names of people I know are interested in taking on the Admin role and would make a good fit, but there might also be an application process again.
