Hi everybody!

As announced a few days ago, both @lain and I will be stepping down as admins. Our positions will need to be filled, so we are looking for two popstars to step up to the plate.

What are we looking for in an Admin?

At the very base level, you must:
• be at least 18 years old
• have a good understanding of the English language
• have good communication and leadership skills

Furthermore, you need to be able to use said skills to lead the website, which will require you to be able to stay levelheaded during any difficult or chaotic times the website may face. This also means being able to have difficult conversations and be able to make fair, unbiased decisions for the betterment of the website and it's users.

What can you expect from the role of Admin?

There are a multitude of tasks, including:
• Several hours of work a week, varying from week to week depending on the tasks- think anywhere from 2 hours to 12 hours... possibly more or less ("work hours" are constant as teams may require your help at any time)
• Weekly tasks, like working with the Design Team to select sets for WOF/HOF/DM/Auctions
• Monthly tasks, like working with DT + admins from other servers setting token sets/items
• Restarting and running Auctions and Raffles
• A lot of communication working with the various VP teams, helping with any issues that may arise or any questions they may have
• Working with the Core Team from all three servers, Etjen, and Enbette on development
• Helping guide the Moderation Team with any decisions that require extra care
• And more!

What is required in your application?

• Your username/name/whatever you prefer to be called
-> PLEASE NOTE: you will have to disclose your full legal name to Etjen for the contract if hired
• Your age
• Your timezone
• Your general availability (hours per week, notably)
• If you have any experience in an admin/leadership role and what that experience is
• A little bit about yourself (what do you do? what are your hobbies? how would you describe yourself in a quick pitch?)
• Why do you think you would be a good Admin for VP?
• Why do you want to be the next VP Admin?

Please send your application to both lain and talent by October 28th, 2026 at 23:59 PM EDT at the very latest.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

We wish the best of luck to everyone applying!

i have a question regarding the contract if hired for the admin position (:
sometimes in the nl, you're required to disclose secondary professional activities to your employer, depending on a few factors. how would the contract work in practice? would the position be considered (paid) employment or more of a volunteer role with a formal agreement?

Personally I wouldn't consider it "paid employment". You dont have to give your (idk what its called in other places but here we call it your social insurance number). The contract is more like you promise to do so and so, non disclosure if needed, and compensation. I'd consider it the same as like babysitting for some extra money.

From a legal perspective, this is wrong!!!! Dutch law would require you to disclose it in many cases, if you for instance get money from the Dutch government and you do not disclose it, you can get serious fines.

if you get paid, it is by definition paid employement. Dangerous advice!

as someone who has had this position and is from NL, you don't have to disclose this as a paid position or job, because it is not treated as such.

i don't know how much i'm allowed to share but there is no real contract of employment, it's different from that.
