Lumina clutched the bottoms of her feet, sitting up on her bed and looking at the clock and waiting for Jeremy to arrive home. He always came home at random hours in the early morning, which made her uncomfortable. She hated being home alone, especially in an apartment complex in New York. Things were getting tougher and tougher for them, Jeremy was stressed all the time from working 24/7, which he had to because of the bills, but it was affecting their relationship negatively. Ryan sat at his work desk in his home office, candles burning as he looked over paperwork from the night before. He was swamped with work because of all the layoff the company had been giving, which just meant more work for him. He heard light footsteps coming down the hall as he looked up at Char, standing there.
You and your boyfriend, both young an naive, move in with each other. At first it was all happy times, then reality kicked in. Financial issues started to become very burdensome, so you both started working more. You never have time for each other and now all you two ever do is argue.
