Aiden had not intention to meet his father; he could kill him any moment he wanted and he didn't care if he got in trouble for it. The man deserved it. He should've been dead already or in prison but nobody believed Aiden, no one knew the truth. Why? Because the rich bastard hired professionals to cover up the truth, that's why. Aiden mustered up the courage to look at Becky and swallowed hard, realising that she was upset. He knew he was being such a dick to her and wished he hadn't; she was probably a nice girl and he liked her dance routine but he didn't want to admit it. He admitted a lot of things in the past and it made his life shittier. Now he was a closed book and wasn't planning to let anyone in. When he was about to ask her if she was okay, he heard her words and nodded his head slightly. "Yeah...I'm sorry too." That was all he could manage to say before he followed Becky to meet the one person he hated the most.
The man was talking to the blonde girl, until he saw his son and the other receptionist next to him. He held out his arms. "Aiden! How are you?" He said, with a grin on his face but was taken aback when Aiden pushed him.
"Get the fuck out my face." Aiden said, not making eye contact with his father.
"Son, listen to m-"
"NO YOU LISTEN TO ME!" Aiden shouted. "The only reason why I agreed to meet you was to tell you to get lost. Do whatever you want. I don't know, go cruising in the Caribbean or skiing in Chamonix, I don't care! Just stay away from mum and Daniel and don't even think of meeting with Emmett, okay?" There was sweat dripping down his son's face and he clenched his jaw, nodding his head.
"Okay." He gave Aiden an envelope and started walking away. "Call me when you want to talk."
He headed back to his car and tried to ignore the comment Aiden made when he left, which was: "You'll be dead before then!"
