I know some of the guys hosting it so we can get VIP entry.." She watched as he walked off to get them lunch, putting her phone down onto the table and texting Drake back a few more times.

Nathan slowly lifted himself up from the ground, clearly shaking a bit as he moved over to the bed and lowered himself back down on the bed beside her, but making sure to leave a decent amount of room between them. "just shy of £2,000" he said quietly, ruffling his hair about a bit. "I am really sorry for all of this" he waved his arm around the room at the mess he had caused, "also I can fix your door, it'll take me maybe two hours.. and .. I'm just really sorry for trying to steal from you."

Maia stood up once he announced the amount. Heading to her wardrobe she entered her safe number and twisted the lock a couple of times before it sprung open. Kneeling down she pulled out some notes she began counting while he spoke, glancing over st him now and again, "and if you pay them off now, will they leave you alone?" She asked, standing back up once she counted the money out, she went back over and took his hand, placing the notes in it. "Give them this. Think of fixing the door as your first instalment for paying me back." A small smile fell on her lips.

Nathan felt his jaw fall open without any control, "are ... you... you can't be..." he was frozen, sitting on this strangers bed with the money that was going to save his life. "No one has ever offered to help.. and... are you sure? I mean... this is a lot of money and I have no way of properly repaying you." he held the money loosely in his hand, as if she was going to take it back and that it was all a joke. He stood up and put his hand back out to her, "what could I ever do to try and repay you?"

Maia nodded her head, clasping his hands and making his fingers close. "It's no use to me just sitting there and burning a hole in my wardrobe, you might as well make use of it. And I can see you need it." This would be her chance to maybe make a good impression on people in this school. She was pretty sure the majority hated her. "Like I said, fixing my door will be a start. And then maybe.. you could let people know I'm not a complete bitch? There's this guy I kind of like but he wants nothing to do with me right now."

Nathan forced himself to hold his emotions back, "thank you Maia, thank you so so much. I can't express just how grateful I am for this" he clasped his hand on the money tight and then moved to put it in his now empty backpack. "I'm sure I can do that for you," he laughed softly, sincerely, "may I ask who the guy is? maybe I could put in a good word for you or something.. I mean.. I know there is a party being held tonight so maybe if he's there it would help?" Nathan smiled at her, trying to pull himself back to reality.

Maia couldn't stop he smile on her lips. Wow, is this what it felt like being joe to people? Maybe it wasn't so bad after all. Sitting back down on the bed she crossed her legs at her ankles, leaning her hands back behind her and watching him. Her eyes lighting up when he agreed. "Drake Ramones. He's in your heart I think. I know he's a little bit older anyway. We've chatted a little and I think he's gonna be there.. if you could just maybe.. point me out to him, that would be great," she pushed her hair back over her shoulder.

He is one hell of a ladies man." he nodded his head for a moment, "yeah he is definitely going to be there tonight, I can see what I can do for you. Of course I can't make any promises that he will take my hints on board but I'm pretty sure I could get the pair of you talking by the end of the night." he paused for a moment, pulling his old phone out of his pocket, "mind if I give you my number, so that we can keep in touch. just to prove to you I'm not going to just take your money and dash off"

Maias cheeks went a little pink. Jesus was she that much of a cliche that she was going after the typical guy? She didn't care, the rare few times she'd seen him round the building, he made her knees weak, her palms sweaty. It was her usual type. The bad guy that your mother would disapprove of. "Of course. And at least if I get ditched tonight I'll have one other loser to hang out with." She teased, smiling at him. Taking his phone she added her number into it. "There we go. P,ease don't pass it on to any losers though."

Nathan watched as her cheeks went pink and he couldn't help but smile to himself, " this loser will always be kicking about to help you out, don't you worry." he chuckled, taking his phone back and noticing the time. "fuck, we are going to be late for class. What do you have?" he said, standing up and throwing his bag onto his back and fixing his shirt and hair, trying to keep himself distracted again from the mess he had caused in her room.

Glancing at her watch she swore under her breath. "Science I think.. but I need to tidy this up. And get myself read for tonight, damn it. If I'm late again they're not totally gonna grass on me and tell my parents. These losers are such freaks here." She rolled her eyes, not even thinking about what she was saying.

Nathan chuckled nervously, "definitely can't, thank you." he laughed softly and pressed his hand against the beanie in his pocket. The smile faded from his face, "freaks?" he said simply, before trying to shrug it off, "well I need to run I have a test to sit but I'll see you tonight yeah?" he smiled a little bit before heading out of her room and hurrying off down the corridor, not wanting the conversation to continue after the mention of freaks. He wanted to put this afternoon behind him as quickly as possible.

Letting a little sigh leave her lips, she shoved her door with her hip bone, moving it so it was in place and she could have a little bit of privacy back. She was wrong, they weren't all freaks, of course not. It was just hard adapting when she was one of the very few humans. Kneeling on the ground, she began to tidy up the mess he had made.

Nathan lay on his shabby single bed, he was fully dressed and ready to leave for the party where he would pay off a debt that's been hanging over his head for far too long. But there he was, thinking about Maia. She had been so understanding and willing to help out, it was just so surreal.

Elizabeth had ended up falling asleep on her bed instead of doing the homework she claimed to have been doing when texting Elijah two hours ago. She rolled over and reached out to try and find her phone without opening her eyes or getting out from the duvet.

Maia was stood in front of the mirrored wardrobe door, checking over every final detail of her outfit and looks. Not one single hair could be out of place. A red silk cowl neck scrappy dress hugged every curve of her body and her black louboutin heels elevated her, making her legs look a mile long. Bracelets and rings and earrings, check. Gucci clutch bag under her arm, check. This was it, butterflies in her stomach, it was her first party she had informally been invited to. Sashaying out of her dorm, her hips swaying with every step she took.

Nathan lifted himself from his bed, glancing at the mirror at his outfit to make sure it would do. He had tight ripped black jeans on with a loose white v neck shirt hanging on his body perfectly. He grabbed his wallet, ensuring the £2,000 was safely tucked away before pushing it into his pocket for safe keeping. Quickly moving out his room he made his way out of the school, spotting Maia on his way out, "you look .. incredible." he said, smiling at her and trying to hide just how incredible he thought she looked. "the club it's being hosted in is just down the street, if you want some company on the way over?"
