Evangeline looked between the two of them, sure they were all good friends but she'd never really seen them hanging out like this before. Narrowing her eyes slightly, she grabbed her backpack and shoved in a towel, some sunscreen, and some other bits she might need, thinking it over and over in her head. Turning back to them, she put her hands on her hips. "Hey, is there something going on between you two?" She questioned, turning back to her chest of drawers she pulled out a black bikini.

Ashby pulled his hand away and poured like a girl, as if she had really hurt his feelings from her comments about his nails. "That's no way to treat a young innocent boy like me, hurting my soul like that. I'd cry if I wasn't so brave." He stood up from her bed, feeling a little awkward now that Evangeline was in the room, though he wasn't entirely sure why. "Right then, ice cream it is, I'll go and get dressed and I'll see you in five, don't be late!" He shouted as he walked back to his own bedroom. Nodding once at Jamie. "What's going on my dude."

Jamie nodded his head in return to Ashby. "Alright man!" he said as he was laying on his bed. He hardly looked up from his phone for a few minutes, before putting it in his pocket and standing up. "We're heading for a swim, but you up for a game of footy or something later?" he asked as he walked towards the window and looked out of it into the street below. He waited for his response.

Ashby pulled on a pair of ankle grazer jeans and slipped his feet into some vans and ruffled his hair around with some wax, into the natural style that he preferred. "That sounds cool, I promised area to get some ice cream, seeing as I stole the last of her cereal this morning. Only fair ain't it." He laughed, picking up he phone and his wallet, shoving them into his and pockets. "Footy sounds good, or we could go out tonight if you want to? Whatever you fancy lad." He nodded at him and then walked back to aryas room. "Ready for some cream?"

Oh well, she'd be over it soon enough, she was sure. She settled on a little summer dress and got changed, before brushing her hair and putting on a little bit of nude lipstick. She pursed her lips before checking she had everything she needed in her handbag, and slid her shoes on. "Ready!" she said as Ashby appeared back in her room, checking herself in the mirror one last time before shutting the bedroom door behind them and making their way to the front door. "See ya later guys!" she shouted through to the kitchen.

Jamie grabbed a pair of shorts and popped them on over his swimshorts, along with a plain white t-shirt. He put on his converse and grabbed what he needed, throwing them into his sports bag. He chuckled softly. "Seems fair to me!" he said as he slowly nodded his head. "Yeah either way mate! Enjoy your ice cream!" he nudged him gently with a little smirk as he passed by and made his way down to the kitchen. "You ready, then?" he said to Evangeline, softly. "Laters!" he shouted to Arya and Ashby.

It wasn't exactly summer weather yet, but spring had definitely arrived and he was embracing the sunshine for as long as he could. "So, are we going to the beach or are we just going to that little parlour?" He asked following her lead.

Evangeline let out a little 'hmph' noise, something about the way she was acting just wasn't sitting right with her and she needed to dig deeper, find out what was going on. Maybe Jamie knew, him and Ashby were like best friends, they told each other everything. Smiling as Jamie came out of the bedroom, she slipped her little backpack on and then headed out of the door, taking in a deep breath. "It's so nice to get some fresh air in the day time. I can't remember the last time I saw the sun."

"You're gonna have to buy me soooo much ice cream!" she teased, gently nudging him in a jokey way.

Jamie followed Evangeline out of the door. "Tell me about it! I was a day or two away from becoming full hermit!" he smiled softly. "Perfect day for a swim in the sea, I'd say!" he was walking next to Evangeline and every now and then their bodies would brush against each other, which he didn't mind. He looked around him at the surroundings whilst they made their way to the beach. "I can't wait to be in the water!" he said, making small talk.

He walked down the road and headed through to the main high street, which was just a few roads away from the main walkway along the beach. "Woah I only took a bowl of cereal and one sip of tea, I think three scoops max more than makes up for that." He nudged her back, smirking.

Evangeline bit down against her bottom lip, moving just slightly closer, letting their bodies brush just a few more times. After all, the wind was a little bit chilly, she needed some warmth! Pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "I know, it feels like it's been so long, I'm so glad it's finally sunny weather, I can't wait to spend more day shopping on the beach doing absolutely nothing. That's the perks of working at night." She headed down the steps onto the sand, taking her shoes off.

Jamie nodded in agreement. "Mind you, I'm not sure night working has many perks, does it?" he couldn't think of many, especially not after hearing some of Evangeline's stories. How she put up with it he would never know! "And you're always up so early, even though you only got in a few hours ago!" he shook his head softly as their bodes brushed against eachother once more. "You're superwoman!" he said, a little softer. He stopped just before he got to the beach and took his shoes and socks off, holding them as they made their way onto the sand and closer to the shore.

Evangeline shook her head quickly. "That's about the only perk of the job. Plus the free alcohol and whatever while I'm working, that's not so bad either. But other things thst, it's not so fun." She paused once they were in the perfect spot, a little cove secluded by a few larger rocks. Perfect for a bit of peace and quiet. She pulled off her shorts and top, tightening her pony tail, she adjusted the waistband of her bottoms. "I like the peace and quiet when I get up. Gives me time to just chill."

There was no-one else nearby, perfect for a little dip in the sea in the morning. What a way to wake up, too. He placed his shoes down on the sand at his feet, before pulling his t-shirt off over his head and his shorts off too, leaving them both on top of his shoes. "Sorry for ruining your peace and quiet!" he grinned as he ran straight into the water and dived in. He flicked his head as water came flying off, and ran his hand through his hair.

Evangeline rested he hands on her hips as she looked around at the view in front of them. She felt so lucky, to live so close to such a beautiful place. Somewhere that she could call home. Watching as he ran off she let out a little laugh, but it came to an abrupt end as he came out the water. "Holy mother of god.. what is he trying to do to me.." she whispered to herself. But she had to flick the toughs to the back of her brain as she walked out, walking through the water in a much calmer way.

She had to admit, he was very good looking, someone she could definitely find herself getting lost with, She shook the thought from her mind, it was just ice cream after all, two friends, nothing more. She sighed softly.

Jamie kicked his feet a little to help him stay afloat as he shivered slightly. "Okay, maybe it's a bit colder than I thought!" he called over as she slowly made her way into the sea. He couldn't help but scan his eyes over her body and found himself smirking a little. She had a beautiful figure, and a beautiful face. And she was so calm. How, he had no idea. She just had an aura about her, which Jamie found mesmerising. Although he wasn't one of the most excitable of people normally, he had his moments, but Evangeline seemed to calm him.

Paying for them, he took the little ticket with their order number and went and sat back down, eating his arms on the take in front of him. "I got you a surprise too."

Once she was deep enough in the water, evangeline held onto her nose and dunked her head under the water, standing back up she shivered slightly, letting a small giggle fall from her lips. "Okay so maybe it was a bit of a bad idea. It's just been sooooo long since we've been able to, my body was craving it!" She cautiously lay back into the water, keeping her toes and fingers wiggling to stay afloat. "This is nice though. So peaceful and calm. Not a single cloud in the sky above us." She awed.

Jamie shook his head. "No no, I'm sure it's fine once you get used to it!" he was trying to control his shivering and not completely convinced himself, but he was also kind of enjoying it. Evangeline was right, it had been so long, and it was still nice to have some peace and quiet in the sunshine, albeit a little chilly. He ducked his head under and quickly re-emerged, running his hand through his hair and slicking it back. He let his body lay back so he was floating next to her and looked up at the sky. "Just blue everywhere you look!" he said quietly. It really was peaceful, the sound of the waves crashing gently around them and nothing else.

Ashbys grin grew, seeing how excited she got, it made something Isidro him feel good. Warm and fuzzy deep down, it was weird. Sitting up a little more when the waiter came over, he licked his lips. "Thank you sommuch, this looks delicious." He picked up one of the spoons and scooped up some of his sorbet. Grinning childishly when their drinks were brought over. "And a chocolate and caramel milkshake to go, of course." He knew it was one of her favourites.

Evangeline shook her head, standing back up in the water, a shiver running through her body, goosebumps across her skin. "Nooo it was definitely a bad idea of mine, I think I might get frost bite in my toes." She giggled, watching him as he stood up too, his hair pushed back again. It was like something from a Gucci aftershave advert, and it took her a lot of strength to peel her eyes away. "Okay I'm getting out, my body is too chilly." She giggled and got out as fast as she could, running across the sand back to their clothes.
