Auden turned on her heel and watched as he walked off, half of her wanting to crumble away with every step that he took. She licked her lips as a tear fell onto them leaving its saltiness behind. Her feet felt glued to the floor and her mind played tricks on her causing her to feel as if time had paused. Her ears picked up on Cole's voice a minute later. Wiping her eyes, she turned to him and took in his slightly crooked nose, busted lip, and the purplish rings that were forming under his eyes beneath all of the blood. "Yeah, let's just go home." Walking around him, she started for home, keeping quiet.

Katia hadn't moved from the sofa. She was still in last nights outfit of a little black dress with leopard print heels, feigning sleep so she wouldn't have to move yet. She'd barely gotten a wink. No soon would she fall asleep, that she'd suddenly wake up. Thinking it was a dream only to realise it wasn't. Her stomach growled noisily but she just ignored it, staring blankly into the darkness, since the pillow was still over her head.

Cole was in the shower, barely even touching himself to wash considering how painful it was. He hadn't even been able to sleep because of the pain so the deep purple bruises were even more pronounced. Standing stark naked, you could see every bruise on his body, some even resembling the shape of a fist. He got out the shower and ran his hands over his hair, smoothing it back off his face while he looked in the mirror. He ran an incredibly light finger down his nose, feeling the way it seemed the bend from impact at the bridge. He grimaced and walked to the toilet, setting the lid down and taking a seat. He felt like a huge massive prick.

TJ hadn't returned home that night, he'd gone home with a group of incredibly easy girls but just used them for their couch. He woke up to a bunch of giggles and he narrowed his eyes in their direction, the bright lights not helping his hangover. He mumbled something incoherent and sat up to stretch. The girls were discussing him at the table, one commenting how gorgeous he was, the other one saying how obviously gay he was for last night. He stood up and walked to them, asking for a drink. They quickly got him one and he sat down to drink it, the room now silent.
He cleared his throat. "Sorry for last night but I'm gonna go. Thanks for letting me crash, I guess." He got up and without another word, left. Where to, he wasn't sure.

Aislin smirked as she watched Patrick stumble around her room, struggling to keep quiet as he slipped on his clothes. She'd already broken the news to him on how he'd have to make an exit out of the window since most of her roommates hadn't had the kind of night she'd had. She sat up in bed, lifting the window enough so that he could slip out. She gave him one last kiss as well as smile being that she knew she'd never call again. He'd been fun but after around five in the morning when he insisted on trying to hold a conversation, she knew she was finished with him. "Bye." She whispered as she closed her window and fell back onto her bed, her eyes tracing the bumps in the ceiling as she wondered what she would do for the day.

Auden sat quietly on the balcony with her knees pulled up to her chest and a cigarette sitting limply between her fingers. Her eyes focused on the beach in the distance, the only thing that was providing her with a sense of serenity. She'd been in the same position for almost the entire night, replaying last night's events repeatedly in her head. When she'd gotten home with Cole she'd hoped that something in TJ's mind would have changed his hatred for her and cause him to forgive her. But being that he hadn't even returned last night, she doubted that was the case. She pulled the cigarette to her lips and took a drag before standing up from the chair. She stretched, wincing a bit as her body felt sore and cramped from remaining in the same spot for an extended period.

Alex sighed as he reached up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. While he'd been able to drift off to sleep a few times in the night he was far from rested as his dreams somehow continued to wander onto thoughts of him and Katia and that was enough to rouse him from his light sleep. He slowly swung his legs around the bed so that they came in contact with the floor. However his body made it clear that it wasn't yet ready to wake up. He exhaled slowly as he slumped over and rested his head in his hands.

Cole slowly stood up and grabbed a towel, rubbing it through his hair and then drying his body. He pulled on a pair of denim 3/4's, a buttoned up shirt and threw on his favourite hat, pulled down slightly in an attempt to hide his face. He went out the bathroom, forcing himself to straighten up and wipe any kind of pain from his face. He wasn't a wuss and he'd make sure everyone knew it.
He went through to the kitchen, spotting Aislin outside on the balcony as he went. He wanted to apologise again but he wasn't exactly sure how she was feeling towards him. Whether she blamed him and hated him, or not... He flicked the kettle on and waited for it to boil.

TJ decided he'd have to go back eventually. His stuff was there and he wanted to shower and change. He didn't want to see either of them though and was dreading the moment he saw them. He still wanted to kill them both. The anger hadn't faded yet to sadness for what he's lost, it was still just venomous. He started the slow walk home, purposefully dragging his feet and stopping in every shop on the way.

Katia knew she'd have to move eventually so she did, slowly pulling herself up to sit. She glanced around and was pleased to see it empty. She pulled off her heels and stood up. Besides being really tired, she felt fine. She decided she'd grab a shower, try and wash off the remainder of last night, hoping to just forget it all. Then she remembered her things were in the room he was. She sighed and sat back down, running her hands through her hair. She'd have to just wait for him to emerge. How long that was going to take, she was unsure.

Aislin rolled off of her bed, stopping herself short from falling. Standing up, she started to hum some upbeat song that had played over and over at the club. She ran her fingers through her hair, frowning as it fell on her shoulders in a clump instead of cascading as it usually did. She pulled her hair back away from her face and into a ponytail in an attempt to make it look someway decent before walking out of her room. As she made her way into the kitchen, she tried to think of the last time she'd given in it a treatment. When she saw Cole standing next to boiling kettle, she raised her eyebrows as her eyebrows ran over the purple bruises that made a mess around his face and instantly she knew he'd received them from TJ.

Auden walked back into the house, glowering a little when she saw Aislin. Although she knew it didn't make sense to be angry with Aislin as she was the one who cheated, she couldn't help but shake the thought of her feeling that it was okay to tell TJ. Especially since she thought they were friends. She didn't bother to say anything as she passed and continued to move on, eventually reaching the room she shared with TJ. Opening the wardrobe, she looked around for something that she could wear. She'd slept in the clothes from the night before, not feeling up to the task of getting dressed.

Alex ran his hands over his face before getting up and grabbing his towel from off of the top of its hanger. Katia hadn't returned to their room and he figured that he should probably allow her some time to get some of the things she needed. Last night he'd questioned whether or not he should just forget it all and return home. He knew he'd be hung up on her still but being back at home would give him the opportunity to move on.

Cole saw Aislin enter from the corner of his eye and he kept his head lowered, pretending to look at the tea but he was just trying to hide as much as he could. He knew he couldn't do it forever though. He didn't look at her or speak, he just continued what he was doing. He wasn't even sure how he felt about her. He knew Auden would be annoyed but he just felt like he truly did deserve what he got. In trying to be the big man, he'd trampled all over the people he actually considered friends. He was more concerned about what Aislin thought of him. He stirred the teabag, took it out and poured the milk.

TJ eventually got home and he went straight through to the balcony when he saw it was free. He had to wait to see where Auden was before he moved about, he didn't want to bump into her or anything like that. He sat down, peeling off the dirty shirt and dropping it on the floor, before picking up a spliff to smoke. The perfect thing to calm him down and relax him. It's what he felt he needed.

Katia got up and moved where she could see the entrance to the bedrooms. Only when she saw Alex emerge did she go to their room. She peeled off her dress and threw it in the corner. She'd probably never touch it again just because of what she now mentally attached it to. She got out a play suit to throw on, along with a towel. She needed a shower, a long hot one with soap. She decided to just wait in the room for him to either enter or at least she'd hear him go past which meant the bathroom was then free. Despite how hurt she was, a huge part of her still desperately wanted to hold him and be with him and kiss him. She just wanted him to grab her.

Aislin shook her head, unmoved by Auden's eyes as well as being given the cold shoulder. What kind of friend would she have been if she would have allowed someone to get away with cheating? Her eyes moved back towards Cole as she contemplated whether or not she should speak to him. He looked hurt and after watching many of TJ's brawls, she felt partially sorry for him. She opened the kitchen drawer and pulled out a small plastic zip bag and placed it on the counter. Opening the freezer, she grabbed a couple of ice cubes and dropped them into the bag before zipping it shut. She slid the bag towards him before grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge and returning to her room.

Auden took out an oversized tee shirt and a pair of shorts before tossing them on the bed. She quickly pulled her shirt from around her waist and over her head before throwing it into the hamper and replacing it with the clean tee shirt. When she'd finished getting dressed, she walked into the bathroom and brushed her teeth, taking in the dark circles that had outlined her eyes due to the lack of sleep she'd gotten. Sighing, she spat out the toothpaste residue and rinsed her mouth before heading out of the bathroom and back towards the balcony, stopping when she found TJ there. She opened the door slowly, yet remained in the doorway in case he tried to go away. "Are you going to continue avoiding me for the entire time we're here?" She asked as she began wrapping her arms around herself.

Alex opened the door to the bathroom and turned the shower on, not bothering to look in the mirror. Knowing that Katia was a morning person and that she preferred to shower in the morning, he was thankful that the house had two bathrooms since it would limit the chances of them running into one another. He inhaled, taking in the steam slowly into his lungs before exhaling once his chest started to feel heavy. After he'd finished washing, he stepped out and wrapped the towel around his waist. He walked back into the room not noticing that Katia was in the room as his eyes had been focused on the ground. Stepping out of his towel, he grabbed a pair of boxers and pulled them up before turning around and jumping slightly. "Oh um, Katia...how...how are you?" He asked awkwardly, staring at her nose instead of into her eyes, a trick he'd learned in primary that supposedly tricked people into thinking you were making eye contact.

Cole could hear her moving around but he still don't look up, he was just staring at the counter completely lost in his own thoughts. It was only when he felt the ice pack budge his arm that he came alive and looked down at it. He waited til she was gone before picking it up and putting against his face, closing his eyes with the satisfaction it gave. He pressed it and held it for a couple of seconds against each bruise. He picked up his tea and drank from it, whilst holding the bag to the bruise beneath his eye. He wasn't sure where to go in the house so he just stayed there.

TJ stuck the spliff between his lips and lit it, taking a long slow drag. He held his breath and closed his eyes, practically feeling it swirl in his lungs before exhaling it out. He heard the door open but didn't look, knowing full well who it was going to be.
"That was the plan." He stared out across the horizon, the sun half way up in the sky. You could see the beach from their hotel so it was a pretty good view. Although, TJ wasn't thinking any of this while looking.

Katia wished she'd left when he entered in just his towel. Even more so when he didn't realize she was there and dropped it to pull on his boxers. Her face didn't reflect how she felt though, she tried her best to keep it as neutral as possible. She raised her eyebrow slightly at the question, standing up to walk out to the bathroom.
"Fine. Sorry about being in here, just waiting for the bathroom and I had to get my things anyway." It was literally killing her to be talking normal to him, trying her hardest to be as chill as possible. She'd shown far too much emotion and she was reluctant to display it ever again. She walked to the door and opened it, before pausing like she was going to say something. Her mouth closed once more though as she stepped out and shut the door behind her.

Aislin wondered if making an ice pack had been the right idea. She was still angry with him over the fact of him having slept with Auden, even if she wouldn't admit it. But she did feel a slight tug in her stomach when she noticed just how hurt he was. She shook her head in an attempt to somehow shake all of those thoughts of him away. She sat the bottle of water on her nightstand before taking a seat on her bed, her cell phone held tightly in her hand. She rethought her decision of leaving Patrick alone. Even if he wasn't necessarily her type, he was however pretty fun to be around. Rolling her cell phone around in her hand, she bit her lip before shooting him a text suggesting they hang out later. It couldn't be so bad, after all she was in need of a distraction.

Auden frowned at his response, her eyes dropping from away from his back and onto the floor. She hadn't a clue on how she could make the situation better. She knew it was impossible, but still the idea of losing him nearly killed her. "Well, I'm sorry to say this but that's an absolute shitty idea. I made a mistake just as you've made mistakes as well. The only way to get over it and move on would be to confront it." She sighed a little before looking back at him, recalling that he hadn't returned home last night. "Am I allowed to ask where you slept last night?" Her eyebrows raised as she tightened her arms around her sides.

Alex exhaled deeply, a small butterfly-like feeling ran through his stomach when she opened her mouth to speak. Yet it quickly faded when she'd soon closed it and shut the door behind herself. The next few moves were a bit rushed and he was quite surprised by himself when he realized what he was doing. He quickly followed her, opening the door and pulling her back into the room before closing the door. "Katia, I was wrong for feeling entitled to being forgiven. Honestly, if I were in your position I would have a hard time forgiving myself as well. So, I won't ask for your forgiveness. Instead I'm just asking for a chance. One chance to allow me to make it up to you. To show you that I'm sorry instead of continually saying it." He sighed as he ran his hand over his head, leaving it on his neck for slight support. "If I fail then fuck it, never talk to me again. But as of now, I can't continue to do this...awkward bumping into one another. I love you way too much to be so...casual." He shrugged as he moved towards her, closing the small gap that lie between them. He held his breath as he waited for her answer, bracing himself to be slapped.

Cole stood and thought of Aislin, pleased that she'd given him the ice pack, wondering whether or not it was a step toward her talking to him again. He missed her a lot more than he thought was possible, whether the beating had knocked some sense into his head, he wasn't so sure. He exhaled and put the ice bag down onto the counter before leaving the kitchen and heading to Aislin's room. He paused for a couple of seconds before knocking the door and stepping in.
"Erm. I just wanted to say thank you for the ice back and erm yeah..." He paused again while he sorted his thoughts out before starting again, "I'm sorry as well for... well, everything. You really don't fucking deserve it so I was wondering if you'd want to do something later?" His heart was thumping in his chest and his head was practically exploding in panic. He never did this, ever. "Chill or something... I don't know..."

TJ ignored the first part and just answered the second, since it was a direct question. He couldn't stand to hear her talk about 'mistakes'. Mistakes is forgetting to put the milk in the fridge, jumping in bed with a dickhead is not a mistake. It's just being plain ridiculous.
"No, actually, you're not. Since we're not together but hey, I'll answer it anyway." He looked over at her, his jaw clenched tight but he tried his best to relax. "I met a group of girls after I left you and I went back to their place. Happy?"

Katia was surprised as he pulled her back in the room, her eyebrows raising slightly in shock. She listened to the speech, her heart beating wildly in her chest. He was talking of chances and showing how sorry he is and Katia just couldn't grasp where it was all suddenly coming from, how quickly it was spilling from him. She frowned a little, she was hurt and angry and giving him a chance just seemed the last thing she wanted to do. How dare he even ask it of her. So as he closed the space between their bodies, she reached up and gave him a slap across the cheek. Tears sprung to her eyes as his face moved with the force. It was of pure frustration that it happened but the speech had done the trick. She reached up with the other hand and put it on his other cheek to move it toward her face, kissing him quickly and passionately, wrapping her other arm around his neck.

Aislin moved her eyes away from her cell at the sound of a small wrapping on her door. Given the mess that everyone else in the house was in, she knew that it could only be one person. She raised her eyebrow as her guess was confirmed when he moved swiftly into her room, asking her if she'd like to hang out with him later on. Here was her moment. Her opportunity to put him on the back burner as he'd done to her so many times before. "I'm sorry, I'm actually doing something with a friend later on." She gave him a small smile before returning her attention to her phone, a little pleased at her having rejected him. She wondered how long he would stay in her room. She raised her eyebrow before turning towards him and giving him another faint smile. "Maybe tomorrow yeah?"

Auden slowly rolled her eyes at him before her eyes dropped slowly to the floor. "Ecstatic." While she doubted that he wanted to stay with her after last night, hearing him say that they were over hurt her incredibly. "Oh, a group? Nice to see that I haven't caused you to lose your touch. Did you bang every one of them or did you just sit back and watch or something?" She asked in a mockingly innocent tone. While she'd cheated on him with someone else she didn't think she'd be able to handle it if he answered that he had slept with them.

Alex's eyes searched over her face once she'd finished kissing him, the sting of his cheek still present. He couldn't believe that the small speech he'd given was enough to get her back. If that was in fact what the kiss meant, that they were back together. Either way, he was happy there with her arms wrapped around his neck. He bit his lip as he ran his fingers through her hair and eventually down her body so that they rested firmly on the small of her back. "I love you." He said faintly before pulling her into another passionate kiss, only this time letting it last longer.

He raised his eyebrow slowly. A friend? They were on holiday, what friend could she possibly be on about? Unless... He felt himself smirk a little as his head cocked to the side.
"Wait, wait, wait. Friend as in the guy last night? The fucking gorilla?" He couldn't believe it. She was tossing him aside for that dick last night. He stopped to readjust before shaking his head, as if suddenly remembered where he was. He exhaled quietly and then smiled. "Sure, yeah. Tomorrow." He turned, opened the door and stepped out the room. Once the door was shut behind him, he frowned. She'd rejected him and it was a long time coming.

TJ smirked a little and shook his head, turning to properly face her.
"Bit of both actually. Nothing like a good ol' six-some." He said it with thick sarcasm, his eyebrow raised as he walked toward her. "I don't understand how your talking with an attitude, Auden, considering what you've done. Shouldn't you be down on your knees or something?"

Katia kissed him back, holding him close to her before eventually stopping to rest her forehead against his. She looked into his eyes, trying her hardest not to get emotional again.
"I love you too." She nudged her head with his softly, waiting a couple of seconds before taking his chin gently between her thumb and forefinger, pulling it down. "But don't you ever hurt me again, Alex. Because I will kill you next time." She raised her eyebrows, smirked a little and then kissed him once more.

Aislin rolled her eyes once the doors had closed before tossing her phone aside and onto her bed. "Ass." She muttered beneath her breath as she leant back onto the pillow. While she would have been more than happy to do something with him, she knew that she couldn't. She couldn't continuously go after him if he had no feelings for her. She sighed o herself as her vibrated, a message from Patrick lighting across the screen.

The corners of Auden's lips pulled into a tight frown as she looked up at him. It was true, she should be groveling yet she was Auden and she was stubborn. "I would've been but it's nice to see that you've gotten over it with someone else. Six to be more exact." She shrugged weakly before walking around him and grabbing a spliff from the small bowl. She took a seat in one of the chairs and lit it. She raised the spliff to her lips and took a slow drag, letting the smoke calm her down as the spoke spun in her chest.

Alex laughed softly against her lips before letting his arms drop to his side. "I won't, I'll let you kill me." He smiled before moving his hands away from the small of her back and taking her hands in his. "I um, I understand if you want to take a break before getting engaged again." He bit his lip as he let her hands go once he realized that he had yet to get fully dressed. He turned away from her before pulling a fresh shirt over his bdoy.

Cole just wanted to go home now. He was pretty much finished within the group and wasn't really sure where to place himself. Despite the lack of feelings for Aislin, he'd always been by her side and now that was gone he felt lost and lonely and he really did miss her. It made him question whether he did actually like her, it wouldn't hurt this much other wise? He frowned and stalked off to his room, flipping his cap on backwards to show off the wounds because he was Cole and he remembered that he never gave a fuck.

TJ rolled his eyes and watched her walk around him to get a spliff. He stood there for a bit, just watching her smoke and think. Unlike Katia, he couldn't even contemplate missing her or loving her. The pain was just too big. He was just pretty pleased that he had yet to run into Cole yet. Let the knuckles heal a bit first because they were throbbing. The kid was bony. He exhaled quietly, his thoughts returning back to Auden.
"I didn't do anything with them. I went back with them and crashed on their sofa. They weren't too happy but I didn't go back to fuck them anyway." He frowned a little, he shouldn't even have to explain to her.

Katia watched him turn and pull a fresh shirt on, shaking her head a little.
"No, no. I want to be engaged. I was happy then and I really want to get back to that." She tilted her head and smiled, her eyes running over his face. She paused before looking down her finger and then back up to his face. She raised an eyebrow. "You don't happen to still have the ring?"

Aislin let out a sigh, knowing that she couldn't continue her thoughts of him. Which sucked, because she enjoyed thinking about him. She closed her eyes for a few minutes before rolling off of her bed, and looking herself over in the mirror. She'd taken a shower the night before and decided that she was okay to go out. She quickly pulled on a shirt with a portion of the back cut out and a pair of denim shorts. She quickly grabbed her pair of converses from beneath the bed before turning and shoving her phone into her pockets. Maybe if she was out of the house it would lessen her thoughts of him. She walked out of her room, closing the door behind her before leaving the house and eventually the hotel.

Auden exhaled deeply, watching as the waves of smoke left her body. She would never admit how him admitting that he hadn't slept with the girls led to her feeling a sense of relief. She struggled for a minute, trying to find the words in her head that would explain how she felt. Although they argued relentlessly and had plenty of bad times, not being with him was a thought she couldn't fathom. "So, why didn't you? If the opportunity was open for you to take, why wouldn't you?" She asked, sighing a little as she took another puff from the spliff.

Alex smiled as he looked down at the bureau before grabbing a pair of jeans and pulling them on. The thought of them actually getting married was enough to fuel him. He gave her a kiss before leaving her quietly in the room before moving into the living room and retrieving the ring from off of the table. Returning back into their room, he smiled down at her. "Should I propose again or...are we good?"
