I thought I was dead until I heard someone speak through the thick black I was in. I slowly opened my eyes to find myself face-down on the floor. I quickly scrambled to my feet, I knew I was blushing hard, "Ha ha, y-yeah, I'm fine." I said cheerfully, scratching the back of my head. I noticed she couldn't get up, so I stretched out my arm to help her up. She denied the help and stood up on her own, "Well, I should get going!" I said, my face still red. I gave her the universal Asian sign, and quickly walked out of the classroom. I sighed at myself, why did I have to be such an idiot? I didn't even say thank you. What kind of jerk was I? I felt a wave of guilt flow through me. "Maybe if I see her again, I'll say thank you." I whispered to myself. Feeling a bit better, I headed to my next class.
