She adored guys in them, because in her opinion it really made someone stand out. Leather jackets and doc martens. Plus she had always imagined going out wearing a guys leather jacket in some imaginary perfect relationship. But it was a day dream that she kept to herself. When the bell went she rose to her feet and wondered over to Gustavs seat. "hope that wasn't too stressful for you." she smirked just a little, lifting her head to look at Marie who seemed unhappy for being 'turned down' in a way.

Adam helped out a few other females in the class with their singing, playing along on the piano to keep them right. He joined in at times to keep them on track but he kept looking over at Evangeline, noting how quickly she had perfected the song. He adored her, but not in a creepy way. He didn't see her like a little child or anything. She just did everything with such beauty that it drew him in and made him want to listen to her forever.

He smiled over at the teacher, putting his notes into a folder he was given, along with some separate sheets with a load of annotations and helpful side notes so that he could catch up on everything they had done so far. Evangeline smiled brightly to herself as she sang all the way through the song, stretching her legs out. she was finally happy with it, though in front of people she would never sing, which was why she needed Adam to do it. She glanced over at him and caught his eyes on her, which made her smile. She liked him a hell of a lot, and not just because he was the only young and attractive teacher there, because he wasn't even that young, but he was genuinely so nice to her all of the time. Much nicer than James ever was. She stood up when the end of class came around and put the guitar back and grabbed her bag.

Adam smiled and nodded at the students as they piled out, reminding them to work on their stuff in their spare time. As Evangeline was the last to leave he touched her arm lightly, "Hey.. I heard what you were doing today. And it sounds great, as does all your work. I really think you will do well in this class, and if your performance in front of people matches your skills you will definitely pass with the highest marks I've ever seen."

Evangeline stopped when she noticed everyone had gone, and felt his hand on her arm. She turned so she was facing him properly, pushing a few stray strands of hair from her face. "Thank you.. it's one of my favourite songs so I wanted it to go really well. I'm glad you like it, Sir. So.. are you free now? I have a spare lesson before I have to go to my tutorial so if you have the time.. maybe we could start working on it?" All she really wanted was to spend a little more time with him, and not have to have James bore on at her about partying and drinking and stupid boyish things, that just didn't interest her.

Adam nodded his head, "Yes I am free. You are welcome to stay." he smiled, shutting the door and walking back over to the piano, finishing off his coffee. "I don't mean to pry into your life Evangeline, but you didn't look very happy when you came in. Was everything ok over the weekend?" he bit his lip, not wanting to seem nosy but he just really cared about her well being.

Evangeline smiled and sat down next to him on the piano stool, squishing herself there. There wasn't much room on it but it was comfortable, and she really didn't mind being this close to him. she looked down t her hands, picking at the old red nail varnish that was painted onto them. "I dunno, it was okay I guess but.." she sighed as she looked up at him. Everyone could guess what type of guy James was, but for the most part they saw the nice side of him. "James was being an ass again. You know, the usual."

Adam shook his head slightly, getting out some sheet music for them. "I don't see why you put up with someone like that. You honestly deserve someone that will have your interests at hearts. Because school is important... I sound like a cliche teacher." he laughed a little before continuing. "When I was here I got distracted a lot but it really isn't healthy."

Evangeline ran her fingertips along the piano keys, until they rested over his, and then she smiled to herself before moving her hand away again, resting it in her lap. "I know but he does like me, and we've been together forever. it just doesn't feel right any more. I've grown up and he's still a silly teenage boy. Yes I know i'm still just a teenager too but.. I dunno. I don't even know why I'm telling you this, gosh." She shrugged and looked up at him again, giving him a small smile.

Adam couldn't help but smile when her hand touched his, he slipped his back onto hers and looked into her eyes. "You are a young lady more then a teenager.. and I'm a friend and a teacher." he smiled softly before letting go of her hand again and looking towards the piano. "Right now shall we give this song a go together?" he tried to take his eyes off her but she was just so damn beautiful. She was worth anything.

evangeline jumped slightly, feeling his hand on top of hers. she just wasn't expecting it, but it was a nice comforting feeling of intimacy, not something she felt often. "well it's nice to know I have you as a friend as well as a teacher. feel like you're one of the only people I can speak to, sometimes." she shrugged and sat up a little straighter, nodding. "i'm not sure whether to leave my performance raw, with just the guitar and vocals, or if you want.. you can go in for the piano too. or we can just do piano and vocals.. whatever you think would be best.." she realised she was mumbling on again, and quickly shut up.

Adam was glad to know she felt like she could come to him, it was comforting, "Well I am always here for you. Just come and find me, at whatever time. I'm the first dorm in the teachers section." he smiled before focusing on her performance. "I think we definitely need to keep your guitar, because it's gorgeous. But if you are happy I think a little piano would accompany the vocals well. And I would be happy to accompany you."

evangeline liked that she had adam as a friend. he was polite and charming and god damn handsome.. no.. NO. do not think of your teacher like that, she reminded herself. she looked back up at him and nodded slowly. "thank you but uhm, I think i'll be okay, I guess." she shrugged and got up, nodding again, once. she picked up her guitar again, running her fingers along the frays, she smiled. "you might have to replace this strap soon, it's getting too uncomfortable to wear." she smiled slightly and pulled up a chair beside his piano stool, crossing her legs over, she rested the guitar in her lap and began to strum away slowly, not playing anything in particular. "maybe we could sing it together? I would feel better having someone do it with me."

Hence why I find it hard to change the strap. But I will get it done soon. I promise" he smiled. Positioning himself to the middle of the piano where he positioned his fingers and sat himself up right. "That sounds like a brilliant idea." he indicated parts he felt they should sing solo and then together so their were small sections she would sing with out him. "You understand these small solos are just to make sure your grade sits high, not me being a horrid teacher."

evangeline sighed as yet another one of the strings came loose and then snapped. "god damn it you piece of crap.." she mumbled at the guitar. she went over to his little office at the side of the room, which was basically just his desk, with the computer on top,, and a spinny chair. she got another sting out and went back into the main room, and carefully attached it (however you do that :3), and sat back down on her chair. she glanced up at him when she mentioned memories. "oh really? how come?" she asked, hoping she wasn't being too nosy. she nodded at the parts he had chosen for her giving him a small smile. "no I get it, it's cool." she began to strum away propery, justw arming herself up for it.

Adam watched her, he was the decent type of guy not to stare at her ass. But rather the way her hair swayed as she moved and the delicate hold her hands had on the string. "I used that guitar when I was a student here. Everyone said I was a girl for doing so due to the strap colour but it was my baby so to say. Got me through my exams and helped me be where I am today." he chuckled a little, "let's begin" he started playing the piano and into the song they both went.
