Rosa laughed. "Yeah, but sometimes it seems like they're not protecting me, they're just protecting who they want me to be." she said slightly glumly. She looked up at the guitars, they all looked so nice. She'd always wanted to play an acoustic guitar, being the soft person who she was. "Um, acoustic I think. Electric seems quite intimidating, and I doubt it would suit me." she laughed gently. She noted how nice his neck looked, really strong. She blushed slightly and turned back to the guitars.

Ash grinned. "My sister plays the violin, she wanted me to try it, ever since I was really young, but it wasn't my thing." he chuckled slightly, trying to imagine him, now, being a violinist; virtually impossible. "Well," he said, crouching down gently. "I'd say E minor is an easy chord, you just put your first finger on the second string on the second fret, then your second finger below that." he said, smiling at her.

faye nodded slowly. "I like it, it's quite dramatic. but it just adds to the poshness that I seem to linger. i'm not posh though, I promise!" she giggled softly as she watched him, resting her fingers carefully on the chords he told her, sticking her tongue out slightly with concentration. eventually she got it. "like.. this?" she strummed carefully a few times, and then looked up at him, smiling slightly.

Ash grinned at her. He gently took hold of her thumb and pressed it gently behind her other fingers on the back of the neck of the guitar. "You put your thumb here, it makes a better sound. But other than that, you've got it!" he grinned at her.

faye grinned back at him, blushing just a tad when he helped her move her hand to the proper place. "thank you.." she carefully played it, remembering some of the chords she usually played on the violin. it didn't quite sound the same, but it was getting there. "I guess I need quite a bit of practice. but thanks for your help." she stood up, picking her satchel up.

Ash stood up with her and smiled. "No problem. I could give you some lessons as well, I used to teach primary school aged kids in an after school club, just to get enough money to live on really, so I expect, if you need help, I could teach you." he said.

faye tilted her head to the side as she considered it, smiling slightly. she didn't need to consider it really - a handsome man was offering her lessons, what more could she ask for?! "I would like that, if you have the time. but uhm.. we can't really do it at my place, I never know when my parents are going to be home or not, and they won't be very happy if I have a guy there. even if nothing's going on." she laughed nervously.

Ash nodded his head, chuckling slightly. "Well, you could come to my place? If you're comfortable with that. I share the flat anyway, so it probably wouldn't just be the two of us in the house, but he's usually in his room anyway, so I doubt he'd interfere. But yeah, if you don't want to then we could always go to a park or something?" he asked. He fished around in his pocket for a pen and a bit of paper. He found an old receipt and he scribbled his number down, along with his name, and the words 'that guitar dude' and he handed it to her.

"i'll go pick you up a case too, bare with me a minute." he quickly nipped round to the storage bit and got her a deep purple case with a special little pocket at the front for the guitar picks, and a guitar strap that matched the colour of the case. he went back out to her, smiling as she explained the story. "I see. well as long as you're not gonna get told off for it."

faye smiled as she listened to him. his voice was like velvet, she could just wrap up in it and stay safe forever, listen to every single word he would utter. "no no that sounds like a good idea. i'll have to call you or message you or something though, tell you when I can come over. thank you for your help though.. uh.." she glanced down at the piece of paper, smiling. ".. ash. my name is faye. nice meeting you." she reached up and gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek, before walking over to the counter, in a very good mood.

She placed her card into the machine and tapped in the pin code quickly. She smiled at him shyly. "Thanks," she said again as he put the guitar in the case for her. "I'll try not to get my hand wet." she joked.

Ash blushed a little as he lips brushed his cheek. He brought the guitar along, placed it on the till, went into the back, grabbed her case and all of that stuff and got it all together on the counter. "Nice meeting you too..." he said, a rather delayed reaction. He smiled at her and tapped something into the register at the till.

faye followed him over to the till, pulling out her sweet heart shaped purse, and pulled her card, pushing it into the machine and pressing all the buttons, not even taking a second glance at the price. money wasn't an issue in her family, they earned literally hundreds of thousands. "i'll definitely call you soon.. so we can get this whole guitar thing covered." she put her bag over her shoulder, smiling up at him.

Rosa grinned at him, happy that he was being so kind. He seemed lovely. "Um, well, I dunno, I'm probably going to get the bus back home, so I'll have to walk to the bus stop. I don't want to waste your time though." she said, blushing slightly.

Ash chuckled and nodded his head. "Yeah, I can't wait to teach someone again!" he said before putting all of the extra things in a bag and handing it to her gently. "You can find tutorials on YouTube and stuff as well, they might be a little hard to follow at first, but it's a good way to get started."

"I see, sounds cool. I think learning from an actual person will be easier though, especially someone like yourself. you seem cool." she blushed.

Ash raised an eyebrow. "Oooh a driver." he chuckled softly, but didn't ask anymore questions. He had already figured that she was pretty well off, seeing as she hadn't asked how much the guitar was. It wasn't that expensive, but it was for someone who was just starting to learn. He hadn't had one that cost as much as her's until he left college.
