mella blushed even more, and this time she could not hide it behind her make up. "you know, you're a very sweet man, sammy. I don't understand why you hide in your room all the while." she plumped the pillows on the sofa, and polished the coffee table, and then looked over at him again. "there are some truly wonderful people here who could use your high spirit, your kind words. I know that you've definitely made my day a little better, that's for sure." she went intot he kitchen area to tidy up.

Sammy felt comforted by what she was saying to him. "I'm not a very good people person.. Not any more." he rested back on his sofa. Thinking about the awful night all over again. "I lost part of myself when my pack were murdered. I've just struggled to get back on my feet" he took in a small breath. "I should have meetings with people and talk about my feelings but that wouldn't really help" he looked up at her, "well you know what, is there any chance I could make your night? Have dinner with you? If you get time off.. I'm not sure how your job works."

mella listened to him, saddened when she heard what had happened. "ah, I see. i'm sorry to hear that." she tucked her long blonde hair behind her ears and went in to where he was sat, looking at him. "if you don't mind me asking, what happened? and how did you survive?" she smiled and nodded her head at his sudden offer, though she was very surprised. "that sounds lovely. i'll uhm, see what I can do about work."

We were away from the rest of the pack because she was in too much agony for everyone else to bare... But the vampires came. I heard my packs screams, I went to help. their bodies lay there.. Lifeless. the humans that helped our pack had been turned, I could smell it. But I heard a piercing scream.. The mum.. The cubs.. I had left them defenSeless." he took a moment to breath, his eyes golden again. "By the time I got back they were all dead. The vampires decided to leave me alive, chained up in the hut with the dead cubs. I spent maybe two months there, dying slowly from starvation, surrounding by what I had let happen. " he shook his head, rubbing his eyes quickly.

evangeline sat next to him, pushing her shoes off. they were killing her feet and that throbbing feeling she felt now that they weren't on her feet was a god send. she nodded slowly as she listened to him, resting her hand on his arm, frowning. "i'm so sorry to hear that. that's vile. no one should have to suffer so much." at least this let her understand why exactly she hated vampires so much. she smiled sadly at him. "you're brave. I don't know how i'd cope if I had to go through that."

sammy felt warmth from the touch of her hand on his arm, she was the first person he had wanted to tell this story too. The Council, whom had found him, forced it all out of him. "It hasn't been easy. Hence why I let as little amount of people into this little room as I can" he laughed lightly, looking at her. "Tell me about you. How come you are here? In this .. Confusing hotel with all these strict rules."

mella shook her head. "I can only imagine how you're feeling now. you're so brave, so so brave." she whispered quietly, smiling up at him. "but maybe, maybe getting out of this room will help you. there are so many nice people here. good people, who want to help." she said, looking at him, shrugging and smiling. "my mother and father abandoned me when they found out I was only half blood. they didn't find out until I was 13 though. so I stay here, and work so that i'm allowed to live here."

She just throws me some towels when I need them. Shame she left really. I thought her and I had a relationship forming" he chuckled, obviously teasing with her. Carefully, he put his hand on hers. "Im sorry that happened to you Mella, no one deserves to be alone. No one. "

mella got lost in his golden eyes for a little while. it was such an unnatural colour, even for a creature. it wasn't something she'd ever seen before and she was mesmerised. she laughed softly and nodded her head. "yeah i'm sad she left, i've had to take on her shifts too!" she sighed a bit, crossing her legs over. "it's okay seriously, i have the people here now. i'm just glad the council found me." she was very fond of the council.

mella nodded. "they cared for me and gave me a second chance. not many people do that when they find out what I actually am. they think i'm weak and not worth it. i'm surprised you're still speaking to me." she smiled a little and looked up at him. "I was a bit annoyed but you're not so bad. and yes. friend. although I don't know you're name.. i'm mella, by the way." she put her hand out for him to shake.

Sammy raised a brow slightly, "I would never stop speaking to someone based on how strong they are. I talk to them based on their personalities." he slid his hand into hers, "My name is Samuel but I go by Sammy." he gave her a wide smile. It was nice, just talking to people rather then avoiding them all the time. "I'm glad you don't find me as bad as you originally thought. I know werewolves can have a rather 'bad biker boy' Stereotype but I am most definitely not that. "

"I never thought you were bad. but you disturbed me while i was on my break. the bad biker boy image doesn't bother me so much." she grinned, slipping back into her heels.

Sammy tilted his head to the side a bit, "I'm glad you came to my rescue Mella. I look forward to seeing you tonight. Unless you get roped into a lot of work, then I will just have to follow you around like a lost wolf." his eyes gazed down to her shoes and smiled, "nice high heels, I've never found them very comfortable to walk in. Especially bending up and down and pushing carts around" he chuckled a little to himself.
