Elin frowned, not really understanding what he meant when he said that they would have to talk. She figured that it would be about something good though. She at least hoped so. She just hoped that the one person that was suppose to be hers accepted her. No one else did and she just hoped that finally someone would give her that chance. I know a lot of the guys back in my old pack did that and stuff." she said, biting her lip. It did make her a bit sad to think he might have been with someone else but she wasn't going to be mad over it, as long as they were together she didn't care. She laid back on the comfy bed and smiled "this so comfy." She said as she closed her eyes, a small smile on her face. She never got a nice bed back in her old pack. It was horrible with springs poking out and all sorts "Ern anything, please. I'm not really sure what I like because I've only ever really had leftovers or bread so anything would be fantastic, thank you." She said as she at up, wincing at the pain in her leg. She looked up at him and just smiled a little, glad to have found her mate.

Mat sighed, not knowing what to do. He didn't want to lose her but he didn't want to force her to be wjhh him either. He had always wanted a mate but he never thought it would be like this. "Please, give me a chance. There is a reason the moon goddess made you my mate and I don't want to give up on something like that. I've dreamed of finding you and the thought of letting you go is horrible." He said as he gave her a small smile "Please?" he asked, crossing his fingers as he hoped she would give him a chance. "I'll look after you and protect you, I promise you."

Your food should be coming soon and i'll make sure the doctor brings something to take away the pain." He gently took her hand, smiling softly. "The truth is...I feel like you'll hate me but I have a girlfriend who I do love very much. Obviously she doesn't compare to you one bit. Your my mate and what I feel for you already is far stronger but i'm afraid of what my pack will think...They need a strong and powerful luna."

"I thought maybe you would be the one person who would be different." She muttered, laying back on the bed as she covered her face with her hands out of frustration.

She heard a knock on the door and then the door open. It was his girlfriend "Hey baby." She said as she walked over to Freddie, giving Elin a dirty look.

Mat listened and sighed. He didn't know himself how it would work. The only solution he could think of was going rogue, bit of them running off together to start a new and better life. He wrapped his arms around her when she leaned against him and rubber her back softly "I know it will be hard and that with you being human it makes it even worse but we could make it work. We could leave and find somewhere to live just the two of us and be mates. I don't want to let you go. I want to give this a chance because I already feel like I care about you and we have only just met. Or we can try and convince my alpaha to let you stay?" He asked, not really knowing what to do or say.

Freddie frowned when he heard Ashley's voice, she always had to ruin everything. "Ashley can you please just get out. I told you to keep an eye on them out there so do it!" His eyes were dark as he glared at her, he felt the need to protect his mate from her and did not appreciate the way Ashley glared her down. He turned back to Elgin and smiled, his eyes going back to their beautiful golden colour. "Of course I'd give you a chance your my mate. We were made to be together Elin I have complete faith that you will be an amazing fighter and you will beat her." he gently kissed her hand before sitting down beside her. "But for now you just need to rest. You'll be staying here of course, once I get rid of Ashley il move you into my room." He smiled happily and looked down into her eyes. "Your so beautiful."

He laughed and gave her a smile "I do want to see you again though, I can't just let you go." He said as he ran a hand through his hair "I'm Mat." He said and took his hand and placed a kiss against it. "You have a beautiful name, I'm not surprised though because you are a beautiful girl." He said as he smiled at her. He told his friend to go back and that he would be back later.

You are even more beautiful than I imagined. I am a very lucky man.'' he said with a little chuckle. He laughed, a small smirk on his face when she said wow ''Well at least I know you find me attractive.'' he said with a smile ''I'm going to have to go back to my alpha and let him know we didn't find anything. Can I see you later?'' he asked, a hopeful luck on his face. He just wanted to get to know her even more.

I try to do things differently to other packs though, I don't like the violence I just want us to live in peace with each other. I try to avoid the threat of hunters."

''Hmm down on the little beach not too far away from here, only a few people know about it so we will be safe down there. and the time is up to you, I don't have anything to do so we can meet whenever you want,'' he replied. ''I can't wait to get to know you better too. I'm so happy that we met as well, you are better than I ever could have imagined.'' he said and kissed her cheek. ''I can't wait for later.''

And my friend won't say anything, something similar happened to him and I know he wouldn't do that to me so we don't have to worry.'' he said and then took a step back ''I'll see you later, cutie. I'm sorry about what he did to you, if i had realised I wouldn't have told him to get you.'' he said before he shifted back into his wolf and ran off back to the pack house.

Mat made his way back to the pack house and met his friend and asked him not to tell anyone. He promised and he felt relieved, he knew his friend wouldn't but he did want to make sure because he didn't want to lose Cassie. He went to tell their alpha that everything was fine before heading back to his house to prepare the picnic. He made all sorts so that there would be stuff that she liked. He made sandwiches and pasta, some salad and then added in a load of snacks like crisps and chocolate. He put in a bottle of wine and as a little treat some chocolate covered strawberries. He couldn't wait until seven so he could see her again.
