Elin sighed as she tied her hair up into a high pony tail and walked out of her room, heading through the make shift living room and into the kitchen. She was the chef of the group, she made most meals and was good at using the basic rations they had to make something tasty. It might not have been much but it tasted fantastic. She looked at her little notebook that had what rations they were using for the day written down. To make sure they weren't using too much of one thing they alternated days and have different things each day. Today was rice with some of the tinned food that they had, such as tomatoes and kidney beans. She was hoping to make some sort of chilli style thing, using the spices they had with them that lasted forever. She headed over to the store room to grab the food and bit her lip, not really paying attention to where she was going until she had bumped into Jake. ''Shit. Sorry.'' she said as she took a step back ''I was in my own little world.'' she laughed. She tended to do that a lot, she always thinking about what it was like before the world ended, what it was like to have a family and to have friends. To remember what it was like to have a boyfriend. It was scary to think that the only people now in the world were her and five other people. ''How's the food supply? not going to have to cut down anymore, are we?'' she asked as she grabbed a bag of rice and a tin of tomatoes, a tin of kidney beans and some spices. Her outfit consisted of a black vest and some black walking trousers. They were the basic sort of clothes they owned. (I'm a celeb style outfit)
Nate was in his shared room, doing his usual exercises. He liked to stay in shape, even if he wasn't getting as much food as he needed. He had always stayed fit though, he couldn't not exercise. He lived and breathed sports and it was very hard for him to let go of that. He stood, wiping the sweat off of his head and headed to the small shower they all shared. He changed back into his clothes before walking into the make shift living room. He took a seat on one of the bean bags and ''You ok, cutie?'' he asked, looking over at Alaska. Before coming here he was a bit of a ladies man, a typical lad and it was hard for him not to give girls nicknames like that.
