Mat sighed as he finished kicking his ball about. He picked it up and headed to class as he heard the bell go. He saw Elin and Oliver and jogged over ''Morning, you two. You two out tonight?'' he asked. Mat, Oliver, Buffy and Elin use to be good friends, they all use to go out together but since he fucked up he hasn't been close with Buffy or Elin. He was still good mates with Oliver, though.

"ye, me and el here were planning on hitting a couple parties tonight, you in mate? i know you haven't had a chance to relax lately. might as well get a little fucked up, it's friday."

Mat smiled when Oliver was still alright with him. He knew it was like Elin hated him since he cheated on Buffy and he didn't blame her but it was a bit annoying when the whole friend group had broken down. ''It doesn't feel like years doesn't it.'' he said with a chuckle ''I'm alright mate, just throwing myself into footie, trying to keep my mind off of stuff. How are you?'' he asked. ''Sounds great, exactly what I need. What parties you guys heading to?''

"so uh, when's the last time you talked to buffy? i haven't seen her much in the last couple months.

Mat nodded ''Sounds good. Always pretty decent at Jake's. Looking forward to a night out, just not sure I'm going to drink. Drinking has ruined so much for me.'' he said as he leaned against the wall. He sighed when he mentioned Buffy ''Not for a while. Last time we spoke she got really mad and cried and yelled and she needed space so I've just left her alone but it kills me to do that. I miss her so fucking much.'' he said as he shook his head ''Something I cant even remember ruined our relationship and its shit. so so shit.''

"come over my house for a little, we can pregame before the party." as he was walking, he listened to mat and felt pretty bad, "it sucks man. everytime i see either of you i can tell how hurt you both are. you know she's not mad at you. she's just hurt. i just wish things could be like they were before. like when we had those plans to move into that super nice condo together and then shit went downhill. i'm not trying to make you feel bad man."

I mean I had got a condo for us, just before it all happened. I was going to surprise her the day after the party but I went and fucked up. I don't even know who I was with, I was that fucked up. Do you think there's a chance she would ever take me back?'' he asked, sighing a little. ''Anyway, what about you, how's your love life?''

oliver walked up the stairs and put his key in the lock, shaking his head. "i mean, you at least have to try, if you really want to be with her. it's been a while now." he walked towards the fridge and grabbed two beers, popping them open with his bottle-opening keychain, and handing one to mat. "uhh, my love life, yeah not much going on there. like i keep getting vibes from el but i don't know if she's just fucking with me or actually is into me. we've made out a couple times and flirt constantly but i don't know if it's real or not. i'm not too worried about it though."

I just want a chance to show her that I do care." He said as he took the beer and took a long sip "Mate, Elin is in to you. She has been for years. She never acts like that with other guys. And you always make goo goo eyes at each other. You should make a move, you guys are pretty much together anyway. Has that cindy chick stopped being cray or is she still giving you problems?" He asked, sipping his beer.

Mat shook his head "Jesus, I thought you had gotten rid of her! I can't believe she hadn't given up yet. Why don't you tell your mum about how creepy she is? Then you could get a restraining order. Honestly she is so creepy. J don't know how you put up with it. How did you even meet her?" He asked as he finished his beer off "So where we headed tonight, jus to Jake's?" He asked.

oliver shrugged, "it's literally been like this since high school. she knew i was going to come here obviously because of my mother, if that's not fucking weird then i don't know what is." he finished off his beer and thew it into the recyling bin, "probably, i mean that's usually where i end up passing out anyways." he laughed, walking into the bathroom. he ran a hand through his hair a couple times and sprayed a light mist of cologne on him. "done."

He asked as he looked for the clothes he had left here ages ago. He found some jeans and a button up shirt, prefect to wear for the night. He changed and borrowed some of Oliver's aftershave. He chuckled "sounds good. But don't pass out too quickl I actually want to have a good night. Ready to head out?"

I hope things might be sorted with me and Buffy or at least on the way to being sorted." He said as he got into the taxi once Oliver had managed to get one. "Do you know what time Elin and Buffy are going to be there?" He asked, excited to see Buffy.
