Adelita slammed the butchers knife that was in her hand down with force and turned abruptly to look at Nathan, her eyes cold. So this was it, he was finally coming out with it, what he wanted to say all along, and it stung her, it felt like someone nipping at her and running a razor blade across every inch of her skin.
