Cole looked at the door when she told him to head back in. He didn't want to face it considering how easily it had been to betray the people behind the door, but in his mind it just showed their true feelings toward each other. He cleared his throat and tried to make himself moodier to go back outside. They had walked in fighting after all. When Aislin made a second remark, however, he smirked with her, shaking his head. He walked to the door, pausing for a second to drag the smirk from his face, before going out to Max and Jade. He smiled a little at Jade and nudged his head to the front door. "C'mon, get your jacket. We should go." He glanced at Max and bowed his head. "Tell Aislin we said bye." He kept his tone very low, trying to appear grumpy and moody, although he pretty much felt on top of the world. He didn't really want to leave so suddenly but he felt it would create the better impression so they could get away with it easier.
Max rolled his eyes and forced a polite smile, as if he actually found it funny. "Maybe later." He looked up as he heard the door swing open and Cole stepped out. He caught a glimpse of Aislin in the kitchen, a smirk present on her lips, before the door shut. He figured they must have sorted things out, considering how charming Aislin obviously found him. So, Max was pretty surprised when Cole decided grumpily to leave with Jade. He raised an eyebrow and rose from his chair, glancing toward the kitchen. He didn't say anything, he just nodded as he told him to say bye to Aislin. Something about it wasn't sitting right. Cole did look convincing as a moody teenager but his gut feeling was telling him it wasn't the case. What had happened then? He walked the two to the door and opened it, his eyes hovering just over their heads as he didn't even say bye. He was much too busy thinking.
Cara rolled her eyes. "No, mother Theresa." She raised an eyebrow and smirked before taking the money from him. Although she'd told him she'd pay, she knew he wouldn't take the money back. She slipped it into her back pocket before picking up her food and sitting down on the sofa beside him. She twirled the fork into the noodles and had some. Although she'd used the food as an excuse to see Alex, she was still pretty hungry. She watched him as he spoke and she couldn't help but feel huge affection toward him and she wasn't really sure why. She felt like she couldn't deny the feelings either. Her head was telling her no and yet another part of it was calculating ways on how to come on to Alex, especially since him and Katia had had an argument.
