Connor rolled his eyes, giving his brother that look of please behave, but he didn't say anything. "No, no D has his own place, he's the alpha of our tribe so the lucky sod gets the best place built specially for him." he rested back against the seat as he listened to Eden speaking but when she reached forward and felt her hand against his skin his eyes glistened yellow and he forced his head away towards the window so that no one could see. shit shit shit shit was all he could think, what the fuck was happening to him? "how have things been anyway?" he asked his brother, wanting to shift the conversation on.

He’d seen that hellhound look before. He turned and saw the look on Eden’s face. “Don’t worry, you won’t have to get involved in tribe politics.”

Gabbie wasn’t asleep at all, she was listening to everyone talking but she just didn’t want to interact. She needed to cool off before she said something she regretted, the last thing she wanted was a royal telling off from her husband. She’d narrowly missed it the last time, when he’d found out she’d been lying. Twice in a week was just pure bad luck. She slipped her phone out of her pocket, really rolling to her side and she loaded up her gallery, flicking through all the photos. But she couldn’t quite bring herself to upload them to social media yet, she didn’t know why.

Edens jaw about dropped at the sound of all this politics, someone had been killed? Vampires? Traitors? What on earth had she gotten herself into. But she had been entrusted with this job for a reason and she sure as hell wasn't about to fail at the first hurdle. "Good.. im not in the business of being privy to murder." She said simply. Looking out of the window at her side to watch the scenery pass them by.

Luna was feeling a bit more relaxed and after having dried off her hair and used some face products she felt a little more normal. Though the fact dymitrius hadn't called yet had her a little anxious but she just presumed the newly weds were talking all about their incredible honey moon. Going back downstairs she sat in front of the fire with a blanket over her lower half as she scrolled on her phone, thinking about whether or not Lucifer could even help her with her magic.

Gabbie couldn’t believe what had gone on when they’d been gone, it sounded like D really wasn’t taking any crap from anyone which was what she liked about him, he was so powerful in his ways and he didn’t let anyone walk over him. Just another diamond brother trait, she could see it in Connor too. She got out of the car once he’d pulled up and went round to the boot, pulling out their suitcases and pushing them down the little path to their house. “See you later D!” She waved back, unlocking the house and walking in, letting out a satisfied sigh. She felt better already, being in their own house, it made her feel not so on edge. “Want anything to drink or eat, Eden?” She asked politely.

Once they arrived she waved at D before heading in behind the couple and she took in how quaint their house was, "oh yes I'm starving," she said as she gazed around the hallway and followed Connor into the living room to explore.

Luna jumped as the text came through but a smile fell on her lips and she replied, gossip? Well then you better fly home xxx after sending the text she got up and went into the kitchen, there was no signed of the smashed glass from days back and the glasses had been replaced. Opening up the fridge she removed some diet coke and retrieved a bottle of vodka from the cupboard and poured herself a double. She had definitely earned this drink and now the shaking had stopped it woulf hopefully help her relax. Grabbing a beer for D she returned to the living room and waited patiently.

Gabbie frowned. Jesus, how long was this girl going to be here? She had assumed a week, two max. That was more than enough time to get in touch with her mother and find out how they could send this angel back to where she belonged. “Oh cool, come and..” but she wasn’t even behind her any more, of course she’d followed Connor into the living room like the lost little puppy she was acting out to be. Gabbie just rolled her eyes and carried on through to the kitchen, taking off her coat and doc martens, she tucked them away safely before opening up the fridge. But even just the smell had her gagging and she took a step back, putting her hand over her mouth. “Maybe we should just order something.” She called through to the both of them.

Turning around Eden wondered straight into him and he put his arms up and laughed lightly, "watch out there," lowering his arms he looked down at her, "built this place myself, not to brag." When Gabbies voice came from the kitchen he moved passed Eden to join her, "could get a cheeky dominos? It is two for one and D mentioning pizza has me in the mood."

Eden purposely walked into Connor and was gazing up with her big innocent eyes, "oopsies" she giggled, but didn't move away from his chest. She knew he could feel the connection no matter how hard he was trying to deny it, "wow that's incredible.." but just as she had him in her sights he was off and she frowned, following behind. "Dominos? Like the game?"

But then they get into the car and it’s this fucking weird little Angel chick that’s locked out of heaven apparently.” He raised his eyebrows.

Gabbie felt it, as soon as Eden bumped into Connor, it felt like someone was stabbing her in the heart again and the sick feeling returned all at once. God damn it, her body was really knocking her sideways today. Turning her head when she heard Connor she plastered a smile back onto her lips and nodded at him. “Pizza sounds good right now.” She couldn’t help but laugh at how innocent and naive Eden was, she reminded her of herself twelve months ago. “No, it’s the name of a pizza chain, you’ve got papa johns, Pizza Hut but round here dominos is probably the best.” She shrugged, going to the fridge again, put this time putting a hand over her nose, she pulled out a beer for Connor and then got a bottle of water for Eden. Getting a Pepsi for herself, she pushed herself up onto one of the barstools, sliding her phone out and loading up the app.

When Gabbie opened the door to the fridge Connor smelt it instantly and the smell made him want to throw up and he was prone to eating out of date food at the best of times, "fucking hell that needs emptied." He laughed, grabbing the beer and flicking the cap off. Leaning his body against the counter he listed off his order, "I'll go for two meat feasts and a bunch of those chicken strippers."

Eden flushed pink as the pair laughed at her and she felt a little silly, "oh I see.." her voice fell away as she watched Connor undoing the beer cap and then smiled at Gabbie, "thanks." She said taking the glass of water and having a sip. "I don't really know if I like pizza so maybe just whatever you would recommend Gabbie."

Gabbie nodded her head. “I dispute it for sure. Papa johns will always have my heart but unfortunately we are just out of range here.” She added her own large pepperoni pizza and then Connors large order, along with a small pepperoni pizza for Eden. “There’s no way your stomach will cope with anything bigger than that at the minute, I remember the first time I shared a takeaway with Connor and tried to keep up with him, I was sick for days afterwards.” She scrunched her face up, cracking her can open and taking a nice long slurp from it. Glancing at Connor, she pushed her lips together. Normally him standing there, with his muscles flexing ever so slightly would have done wonders. But she was feeling just a touch distant from him today and her heart was calling out for him. It was a horrid feeling. She quickly looked away and back down at her phone.

He tipped the bottle back, letting the cool liquid trickle down his throat. "Now you've learned that my appetite is on a completely different league." Placing his bottle down he groaned a bit, "this jumper business isnt for me" and just like that he pulled it off and tossed it into the washing machine before walking shirtless out of the kitchen but paused as Dden spoke.

Eden giggled at their disagreement, "well I'm excited to try if though as an impartial judge ill need to try this John of Papas and give me verdict." Taking another sip from her glass she set it down. Her eyes practically eating Connor up as he pulled his jumper off, holy shit he looked incredible. Better than any angel did thats for sure. "Wheres your bathroom?" She asked and Connor said he would show her so the pair left the kitchen.

Turning to Eden. “Oh uh yeah it-“ but she was cut off when Connor led her off and it was like it was the straw that broke the camels back and all the rage and patience that Gabbie had held onto was ready to burst out of her seams and ooze all over the floor. She was doing her best to be nice to this angel but there was just something about her that wasn’t sitting right and her hands were beginning to form fists. “I need to get out of here..” she mumbled to herself, getting up and picking up her can of Pepsi, sliding open the patio doors the cool autumn breeze hit her but she didn’t care, she just needed a small escape for now. She wandered down the garden and sat herself down on the bench, pulling her knees up.

Connor felt like he was frozen in time as he looked down at Eden and his hellhound side was practically begging to be released. But the moment her fingers touched his bare skin his eyes turned golden. Grabbing her wrist he pulled her hand away from his chest, "I shouldnt have to remind you that my wife is downstairs. And I don't know what you think this is but nothing will come of it." Letting go of her he went into the bedroom and pulled on a fresh top before returning downstairs, his head racing. "Gab-" buf he fell silent as he realised she wasn't inside anymore and he checked out the back, "missing the freezing cold already?" He called out to her.

Gabbie felt like her heart was frozen, as soon as Eden had touched Connor and she reached for her chest, clasping at it and she closed her eyes tight. This wasn’t good, her whole body was going into fight or flight mode. She rested her head down on her knees and took in some long Sharon deaths, easing the tension away. Connor surely had to feel this, which was why she was trying to rid the feeling so quickly. She lifted her head when she heard his voice and gave him a shy smile. “Something like that.” She said, standing back up, she finished for her can of Pepsi and wandered back into the house, throwing the empty can in the recycling. Looking up at Connor, his eyes were still golden but she wasn’t so sure that was for her. The doorbell rang and she jumped. “I’ll get it.” She said, quickly rushing down the hallway to answer it. Taking the boxes from the man, she called up the stairs to Eden. “Dinners here!” She went into the living room, putting it all on the coffee table.

Little did he know there was something blocking his connection to her which was why he didn't know what was going on. "Well we can't have that little one, come on food will be here soon." He waited at the door and pulled her in close to him once she was inside but the door went before he could kiss her and just like that she was off. Sighing he closed the door and went into the living room to dig in.

Eden knew exactly what she was doing and the connection he had with gavbie was breaking. Once she finished in the bathroom she sprayed some of Gabbies perfume before heading back downstairs. "That was so fast!" She said as she plonked herself down on the sofa beside Connor and picked up the small box and her eyes lit up, "wow..." she mumbled as she took in the smell.
