Gabbie knew he meant it when he said he would protect her, she could feel the burning passion in the pit of her stomach and it warmed her up. Sliding into her seat properly she strapped she’d self in, resting the bag between her legs because he’d put that in the car too. “Good because she deserves to come back to something that she will be comfortable living in. Her and shaun, they need to be close to us now.” She nodded slowly, pulling at some of the skin on the edge of her thumbnail as he began to drive again. “Shall, we quickly go and drop the bag off now? I won’t be long, I just think she will feel better.” She shrugged. She didn’t want to be round her too long, if she could sense the pregnancy,

"Of course we can beautiful," he didn't want to tell her how powerful the scent of pregnancy was for a werewolf because he knew that Gabbie just wanted to be there for best friend. Once they arrived at the hospital he pulled into an empty space not far from the door and they both got out. "I really hate hospitals, there's something so ominous about how clean and chemical smelling they are."

Gabbie smiled a little more, glad he wasn’t trying to keep her away from her best friend. Sasha would need a big support unit and even though it would be a sore subject, Gabbie would need her help with being pregnant, she didn’t know the first thing about being pregnant, let alone with a werewolf hybrid. Thinking about that too much scared her so she forgot about it for now. She got out once they were there and grabs Ed the bag, pausing. “You don’t have to come in if you don’t want to. I’ll be ten minutes, fifteen tops. I just wanna make sure she’s okay and doesn’t need anything else.” She shrugged, going round to his side. “It doesn’t bother me.. it’s the Angel way of life.”

Connor looked at her and had a moment of internal debate before nodding, "alright just.. don't be too long and if anything happens while you are in there text me or shoot a mind message we should be in range." he really was getting protective and he hoped she wasn't finding it too possessive but he just needed to keep her safe. "I'll wait in the car." pressing a kiss to her head before getting into the drivers seat again and resting his head back as he rubbed his temples.

Sasha had woken up from her brief nap but the thoughts of her little girl were haunting her mind now and she wasn't even sure how she was sane. She was regretting going to see her little girl but part of her knew that later down the line she would be thankful for doing it. Rubbing at her eyes she shuffled up on the bed when she picked up the scent of Gabbie before she had even come in the door, "hey you." she said with a shaky little smile. "how are things going? you need to catch me up." it was easier if she acted like nothing had happened to her and focused on her best friends issues.

Gabbie felt his heart pulling but she was relieved when he said she could go on her own, she just needed some time apart, as nice as it was for him to care she still needed to be her own person. Adjusting the strap of her bag over her shoulder and once she got some directions from a nurse she headed straight up to the room, giving Sasha the biggest smile she could putting the bag down on the chair she sat on the edge of the bed and pulled her into a hug. “I’m alright I guess.. how are you? How are you doing, have you managed to get some sleep at all? Have you showered?” She asked. Reaching into the bag she pulled out the cosy pyjamas. “I thought you might want these.. though I didn’t think the nurses would be happy if I brought ice cream.”

Instead there was this formidable uneasy feeling between them and she hated it. "Me? Oh I'm.. yeah. Dymitrius left not too long ago, him and Luna had a bit of an argument in the hallway. Something about her see your father" she didn't want to mention the baby, she couldn't. It was still too hard. "you brought the comfy ones!" she said with a bright smile, pulling her best friend in for another cuddle, "maybe next time you could sneak in a tub and we can just devour it before the nurses notice." she teased, her fingers running along the soft fabric of her favourite pyjama set. "Tell me honestly Gabbie, what's happening with that angel bitch? Do I need to come and beat her up because I'll get the boxing gloves out."

Maybe she would be laying her father a visit, if that was even possible while she was pregnant. “Okay that sounds like a deal, I’ll come by tomorrow and I will bring the biggest tub I can find for us to share.” She shuffled right sit next to her, taking her friends hand and ho,doing it tightly. “Honestly? It’s complicated. Turns out it’s all on my brother. He has been blackmailing people and all sorts. He sent Eden down so that she would ruin any happiness I had, and he has the gift of granting people powers, or snatching them away, and he was gonna grant Eden with all sorts. She’s gone for now though.”

I'd pay good money to find out whats going on there because she apparently left shaun on his own, I couldn't make all of it out but D was pissed." she had her theories about what could be going on but she wasn't going to voice them, her main one was that Luna had D under some sort of bullshit spell and the devil was helping her. "Your brother? fuck that's a shame he looked rather cute at your wedding, in a sort of stuck of snobby way." letting a small laugh leave her she sighed, "but that's really fucked up gabs. you need to be careful," giving her friends had a good squeeze. "Still think you should be kicking Connor onto the sofa for a few nights for frolicking with that angel bitch. and if she comes back I will give her a nasty bite to this pretty little face of hers."

Gabbie was gonna have to get to the bottom of it, because now she was concerned about what was happening and what her dad was getting up to. “I’ll have a word with him and reprint back.” She giggled, resting her hands in her lap, she fiddled with a stray strand on her jeans, thinking about it. “It wasn’t his fault though, Sasha. And I think hes really sorry, I dunno. We’ve got a lot to talk about and as long as she doesn’t come back any time soon I think he will be okay. And now he knows about the baby too. He’s been wonderful..” she watched sasha’s face changed and she gasped quietly, shaking her head. “I’m sorry.. I.. I wasn’t thinking.” She sighed, pulling her friend into her chest and kissing her head. “Do you want me to stay? I can tell Connor I’m staying for longer and to go away.”

Sasha gave a firm nod, "you better, you know I thrive off of gossip." that was definitely not a lie which was why she simply owned her love of being in the know. "well.. hell what do I know of angel business? just trust your heart because that's got to lead you to the right outcome." The mention of the baby made her suddenly fall back into a rather closed off version of herself and her eyes dropped to her lap. "No.. don't apologise. Fuck sake I'm still really happy for you." she swallowed hard, rubbing her eyes quickly to stop any trace of tears from spilling out, "it's just a touchy subject." Shaking her head she let her body cuddle into her friends, "don't be silly you need to go and live your life and I need to have a damn shower because I smell rather bad."

Gabbie had to grin. They both loved a good gossip, it was what their friendship was based around and why they got on so well. She shifted slightly and sat up a little more, a look of concern on her face. “I’m not even gonna start planning anything until I know you are okay, it would be so selfish of me to just expect you to be okay with it.” He pushed sasha’s hair away from her face and modded. “Okay, as long as you’re sure. You’ve got everything you need in that bag and if there's anything else you can think of, just text me and I’ll get Connor to bring me. He’s feeling real guilty right now so he won’t say no.” She grinned, climbing off the bed, pushing some hair behind her ears. “I love you sash.” She blew her friend a kiss, before walking out and heading back down to the car park.

Connor was tapping his fingers against the steering wheel as he waited for Gabbie. Scrolling through the tribe chat to check in on how progress was going on the house and things were moving at a much faster rate. What he wasnt impressed with was the lack of update on the attackers. Lifting his head from his phone as the sweet scent of his wife drifted towards him he gave her a wave before pushing the passenger door open for her to get in, "hows she doing?"

Gabbie wiggled her fingers in a little wave, taking the food and pushing it further so she could slide in, she closed it after her, letting out a smile sigh. “Yeah.. she’s good, I think. She doesn’t seem to be in too bad of a place and I’ve told her whatever happens or whatever she needs I’m here. I didn’t wanna be too long.. I fucked uo and mentioned the baby,” she frowned a touch. The guilt was eating end up alive, she really felt like she didn’t deserve this happiness while her best friend was suffering. She pushed the window down once he began to drive back home, resting her head against the side of the car.

Gabbie rested her hand fore his when he reached over to her thigh, rubbing her finger across his wedding band, it was like a reminder to her and it gave her heart little flutters, just another thing she hadn’t felt in a while and just when she could feel her body warming up all over again it was literally ripped out of her and she quickly pushed Connors hand away from her, no longer wanting that feeling there. “What is she doing here?” She whispered, climbing out of the car she had to use everything within her to not rip her apart there and then. “Eden we know exactly what you’re up to, so cut the bullshit.” She warned her, her hands in fists.
