After having a long and heated talk, Gabbie and Connor had finally settled their disagreement and she was feeling much more satisfied with their relationship. Now, they were currently sitting in the bath, he was against the tub and she was sat between his legs, her back against his chest and she was resting her hands on his arms, which were wound around her waist as she relaxed, a happy sigh leaving her lips. “You’re right, one day we might be able to live our lives, me, you and our little baby,” she said quietly. It was finally time for them both to talk about it and it was scary to even think about. “I can’t believe it.. I didn’t even think about it. But it was like Sasha knew straight away, I thought she was just being mean when she said I smelled weird,” she laughed.

Connor was thankful that they had discussed everything that was going on between them, it had been hard going through the day like everything was okay but now they knew where each others head was at. As he rested his head back, his eyes closed as they enjoyed the relaxing bath his hands gently ran along her stomach. It was still hard to believe that his child was growing inside of there, probably only a small entity right now but would only get stronger and stronger as they days went on. "the three of us, a happy little family." the thought made him smile like a fool. He had always wanted to be a family man and seeing Dymitrius with Shaun had him a bit broody and jealous but now it was going o be his turn. "I had picked up on a change but I wasn't sure what it was, I thought it might have been because we were growing distant or something.. now I'm addicted to the smell."

Gabbie felt the baby move.. wait.. was that even possible this early on? She didn’t know, she and no idea about being pregnant, let alone with an angel demon wolf hellhound hybrid, it sounded like the recipe for disaster. But whatever their baby turned out to be, she was going to love it with her whole heart. “I’ll have to book an appointment with the doctor, so he can scan and make sure everything is okay.” She smiled, turning her head and lifting it so that she could meet his eyes, she just loved him so much and he made her feel so special. “Can you feel it too?” She grinned, letting this hands rest over where she was sure their baby was moving. “How long does a werewolf pregnancy last?” She asked.

Connor wished that he could talk to his brother about what was happening in his life but it seemed far too cruel, he had just lost his baby girl and it had been clear that he had been excited to have someone who would be able to take over his legacy. It was so far unheard of for a half breed to take over as alpha. "Yes we will get one made first thing tomorrow and I want to come as well.. if thats okay? I don't want to miss a moment of this." but his eyes lit up as his hand rested against her stomach and he felt a gentle kick against her stomach and therefore his hand, "oh my gosh.. " he was overcome with joy and excitement. "it can vary, for full breed werewolves it's usually three months but our genes mixed.. it's hard to say really but we definitely need to get to the doctors sooner rather than later. Get some scans done and see if they can give us an estimate."

We can work on your magic in the morning, you need to sleep tonight.” He told her, lying down with his hands behind his head.

Gabbie knew that for now, the excitement would just be between the two of them, until sasha and D had their memorial and could begin to grieve and recover, it didn’t seem right to boast about it in front of them. But she would be growing and changing, and by the sounds of things that was going to happen sooner than she imagined. “I’m guessing it might take a little longer then? But yeah. I think the sooner we go to the doctors the sooner we can work out what’s happening with little baby diamond.” She grinned, turning in his hold so that she was facing him, she cupped his jawline and pressed her lips to his, before grabbing the little loofah and lovingly gave him a wash, pressing kisses everywhere the loofah went.

Connor had no idea how long things would take for them, "maybe an extra month? maybe even more depending on how dominant the werewolf gene is. Either way we will be prepared." he pressed a kiss to her head but the smile on his face just couldn't be shaken, a little baby diamond was joining their family. He was going to need to work on converting the guest room to a nursery and baby proofing the house, especially the hot tub outside so that there was no way a wondering child could end up in it. Pressing kisses to his wife's lips the pair of them got all washed off before climbing out of the bath and he handed her the heated towel before grabbing his own and drying off. "this just all seems so surreal but in the best way possible.. and I haven't even told my father yet. he's going to be so excited to be a grandfather, you saw how happy he was around Shaun!"

One if his servants was currently taking her breakfast while he sat in his throne, thinking.

Gabbie awoke the next morning with a rather sicky feeling in her stomach, but what was overpowering that was the sheer hunger that was ripping through her and she had to clutch her stomach it hurt so much. But as her eyes fluttered open she turned to see her soul mate, her best friend, her husband lying beside her and the smile return to her lips. He usual morning routine coming to plan as she shuffled so that she was lying over him, one leg either side of his hips and her chest against his torso, nuzzling her head to his neck to absorb every inch of heat she could from him as she buried herself into the duvet. This was her favourite moment of the day without a doubt.

Connor woke moments after Gabbie had as he was able to pick up on a sick feeling flowing through her body and his instincts brought him out of the deep sleep he had been in. As she shifted onto his body a smile creeped onto his face, "good morning little one," lifting his hand up he stroked along her cheek, pushing some of her hair behind her ear before she nuzzled herself in close to him and he gave her body a very gentle squeeze. "did you dream of anything last night?" he asked as he stretched his other arm into the air and let a yawn out which ended in a low growl which had been completely out with his control. Mornings were his favourite, sure he probably should have gotten out of bed and gone on a run to try and burn some of the lingering adrenaline within his body thanks to being a werewolf but he sure as hell wasn't leaving his wife just yet.

Standing up he walked towards her, taking her hand to let her do a little spin, he could feel the magic trying to burst already. “Seems your body is awake in full throttle.” He mentioned. Leading her over to his throne he let her sit down on it, leaning his arm on the back of it he looked down at her. “How was breakfast?” He asked.

Gabbie felt the grin on her lips only widen as she heard Connors sweet husky voice and she curls herself up just a little tighter against him, tilting her head back so that she could see the side of his face, her lips pressing to his cheek. “Good morning wolfie.” She whispered, bringing her hand up to trail up his chest, and then along his cheek and into his hair, which she fussed with for a little while as she lay there. The growl making her heart race and she smiled, pushing herself to sit up, the palms of her hands against his chest to hold herself in place. “Food, funnily enough, I’m ravenous, I might eat you if you sit there for too long.” She teased, kissing him all over his face before finally indulging against his lips.

Connor was putting off checking his phone because he could only assume there would be an abundance of questions from he tribe and while he was still acting alpha it was going to be shit he needed to answer. A low chuckle erupted from him, "not surprised, our little one must be starving.. typical werewolf genetics right there." Pulling his wife close to him he covered her in kisses, holding her lips against his own for a longer period of time before finally letting them part. "you get yourself ready and I'll cook us up a storm, how does that sound?" he asked, pressing another kiss to her lips before diving under the duvet and planting several kisses over her tummy which made him feel like he was kissing his child. Popping his head back out from the duvet he sprang out of bed, scooping his phone up, "don't take too long though or I'll eat it all!" he called before descending the stairs, checking through his phone and he groaned.. maybe he could deal with all that shit later.

Gabbie scrunched her nose up. “I guess this explains why I ate so much on our honey moon.. you know I just thought it was all coincidences but everything is just adding up.” She mentioned, more to herself than anything. “I like the sound of that, I love when you cook breakfast.” She beamed, about to move before he dive bombed her stomach and she burst into giggles, wrapping her hands around her stomach which now felt just a touch smaller. “That’s a men’s thing to say to a pregnant lady!” She called down the stairs as she got out of bed, getting out of her pyjamas she pulled on this little outfit here (but without the bag) and tied her hair up into a cute pony, spritzing her perfume before heading down the stairs. The smell of breakfast making her mouth water.

Connor had to laugh as he descended the stairs, "I'm a mean guy under all this fur baby," he called up to her before getting into the kitchen and throwing on a whole packet of bacon and sausages as well as cracking a few eggs to bubble away on the side. He had been neglecting his own appetite recently from the amount of stress the pair had been going through so he needed this brwakfast almost ad much as his wife did... almost. "You are looking beautiful," he commented with a bright smell. "Take a seat jt will all be ready in just a mo!" And true to his word as she sat down he plated everything up and brought it over to the dining room table.

Gabbie beamed up at him, it actually felt like he meant it when he said it this time, and it gave her that damn butterfly feeling in her stomach and she hadn’t felt so happy, not for a long time. “Thank you.” She beamed as she sat down in her usual seat, crossing her legs at her ankles and it wasn’t long before he’d put the food in front of her and she licked her lips. “Lord this looks incredible.” She grinned and without wasting a moment she began to devour what was in front of her. This food was more than twice what she was used to but it was going down nice and smooth and she would have eaten the plate in front of her if she was given the chance. Scooping up her final mouthful she licked her lips clean. “Thankyou so much baby.”

Connor loved when Gabbie smiled like that it wasn't forced or half hearted, no not at all, this smile could have lit up an entire street if it was harnessed into energy, "yellow suits you." it wasn't a colour he had often seen her in but he wasn't about to deny how good it made her physique look. As soon as he took his seat he began devouring his large portion, the wolf inside of him practically purring its thanks for how delicious the meal was. The pair of them were silent as they munched through their large portions and once everything was gone he wiped his mouth clean and spoke once more, "don't mention it, you deserve it." but he reached over and wiped her bottom lip clean of rogue scrambled egg. "it'll take some getting use too but your body will need more food than you were use too but the extra little one will need as much nutrients as they can get."

Gabbie felt her cheeks go a little pink. She’d never been a messy eater.. or a messy anything. Maybe this was what it was going to be like, being pregnant with a wolf inside, maybe her mannerisms would change and the thought set off just a small panic inside her. Everything was coming as such a surprise, she hadn’t been able to plan anything like she had wanted to before they started a family. “I want them to grow big and strong just like their daddy,” she beamed, her hands falling to rest against the side of her stomach, baby moving around like a wild thing. That was an odd feeling. She was never going to get used to it. “I guess I should pay my mom a visit today.. catch her up in everything.”
