Dymitrius has all sorts of emotions pulling at him so right now, he didn’t know if half of them were his or Luna’s or anything, which unbeknownst to him was probably a good idea considering what she had been up to behind his back. If only he knew. He held Sasha for a little while before letting her go again, not wanting it to be weird but at the same time, she needed the comfort that he held. “Our baby girl will get the send off she deserves.” He promised her, finally letting her go he went to Luna, pressing his lips to hers before heading to in front of the clearing. A couple of his most trusted tribesmen appeared from the side, a small white coffin in their hands and he felt his heart break as they rested it down on the clearing and D cleared his throat. Everyone surrounded him in silence as he began. “Today, we are here to remember mine and sasha’s beautiful little girl. She would have been brave, courageous, strong, funny, beautiful, charismatic. So many things, but two thugs ripped that opportunity from her. And so today, we will celebrate her, we will drink for her, and we will cherish her in our hearts forever.” He began to get a little choked up at this point, but he knew he had to continue.
Gabbie wrapped her arms around his waist and stayed close to him, letting out a sad sigh. This was such an awful day and watching the parents of this little girl embrace each other, it made her feel awful. “I’m sure he won’t let her go again.. and we can’t judge without knowing the whole thing.” She reminded him, trying to keep her opinion placid, no matter how wrong she thought it was that Luna had just swanned off. She moved closer now and they found their space as the tribe huddled together, there was nearly 100 of them altogether and it was nice to see that so many people cared about the alpha and his family. Her hand found Connors as D began to speak and though she had been holding back the tears, they were in full force now as they rolled down her cheeks.
